1 month on since the rollout of our new Smart Job Search update ⏩ So what have we learnt? To recap, we believe this update will fundamentally change the way candidates search and apply for jobs. It will: 1️⃣ Improve relevancy of results using Smart Search to predict what candidates are searching for. 2️⃣ Increase engagement by plotting vacancies on a map view with commute comparison tools, resulting in better quality and more informed applications. 3️⃣ Monetise your website by selling advertisement space to your key clients. 10+ years experience but rejected because he wasn’t familiar with a particular flavour of a software tool. Hiring managers, give me two days and I’ll learn a tool, give me two years and I will build you a tool. New tools come out everyday. It is not wise to turn down a candidate for not having experience with a specific tool especially when they have experience with multiple other tools for the same application. A candidate’s experience is not how long they’ve worked somewhere or with something, experience is the foundational skills acquired from doing that thing.
