In 1986, my father co authored a study developing a four item structured self report scale. This article reviews the psychometric properties and tests the concurrent and predictive validity of a structured four-item self-reported adherence measure which can be easily integrated into the medical visit. Results showed the scale to demonstrate both concurrent and predictive validity with regard to blood pressure control at 2 years and 5 years, respectively. This tool became known as the Morisky Green Levine or MGL /MAQ and is the most highly cited article in medication adherence in the world, even to this day being used in standard practice in the largest institutions in the world. https://lnkd.in/g8C_ATZR

Volunteering as a family reinforces shared values and a collective sense of purpose. Celebrating milestones, ranging from birthdays to personal achievements, as well as embarking on journeys together—whether through short trips or weekend getaways—transforms ordinary days into extraordinary memories. By intentionally nurturing and savoring these moments, families can construct a rich tapestry of treasured memories that will endure for generations.
