Pro Tour Airbag Development Update: Introducing the aerObag The cycling airbag project has moved from concept to a functional prototype, now called the *aerObag*. Project Highlights : Prototype Overview: Designed as a bib short-integrated airbag, the *aerObag* aims to enhance rider safety with minimal impact on performance. The final version will be compatible with 'AerObag-ready' cycling bibs or aerosuits across brands. Recent Presentation : The aerObag prototype was presented to the UCI, medical experts, and key stakeholders in Belgian cycling, who gave positive feedback. Track cycling has been proposed as a controlled environment for high-speed testing. Next Steps : Further testing and software refinements are underway.
