Recently a group of our Peaks team members volunteered at Arkansas Foodbank in Little Rock. The team packed 1,545 bags of Cheerios - that's approximately 4,000 Cheerios per bag, equaling about 7 million Cheerios! That's a lot of cheer in those Cheerios to deliver to those in need! The Arkansas Foodbank serves more than 28,000 people a year, and we are grateful to be able to support the amazing work they do in the community! Giving Tuesday is almost here! And we are excited to announce the fundraising goal next week! Giving Tuesday is all about promoting kindness in the community. It's more than just raising money for awesome nonprofits, it's about being part of a community that cares for each of its members. The first challenge this year of the Giving Tuesday campaign is to show someone in your community kindness. Whether it's opening a door, giving someone a big smile, or helping someone with their grocery cart; even the smallest act of kindness can have a big impact on the community. As #HospiceCareWeek comes to an end, we want to highlight the vital work of our #HospiceShopHeroes 👇 💜 Rowcroft plays a key role in delivering vital end-of-life care to 2,500 patients and their loved ones across South Devon each year. 📈 However, we’re facing increasing financial pressures due to many factors including rising costs, a national drop in charitable giving, low and stagnating government funding, and a growing demand for end-of-life care. 👩⚕️ These challenges underscore the critical need for community support and funding to ensure the continuation of important services. By visiting and donating to our Rowcroft shops, YOU play a crucial role in ensuring we can continue to deliver end-of-life care across your local community. Make a difference: volunteer, shop or donate to a Rowcroft shop today. 👉 https://lnkd.in/euUxtKx4

As we wrap up National Volunteer Week (April 21 – 27), it's important to recognize all the individuals who help charities through their generous donations of time. It's estimated that 60+ million people volunteer more than 4 billion hours annually. While many are motivated to volunteer, we sometimes hit roadblocks or challenges to achieve this objective. Among them is finding the “extra” time to donate. Overcome this and other barriers by considering the following tips when making a volunteer choice: https://bit.ly/3Wo1asO #community #BBB
