🔨 As it has for the last 15 months, #Construction led growth among sectors in hourly earnings (3.47%), weekly earnings (3.40%), and weekly hours worked (0.07%) in November, according to our Small Business Employment Watch. On the job growth front, Construction firms with fewer than 50 recorded the largest one-month gain – although slight (0.10 percentage points) – among sectors in November. This is likely due to hurricane recovery as employment growth in the South overall increased 1.87 percentage points thanks in part to upticks in Florida and North Carolina, as well as Georgia neighboring states’ crews assist with recovery efforts.
