Scope 13 Are we in a show scene or just showing the scene? Experimental Indie Video/Sound ART Iman Tash, Amir Sharif, Zhubin Kalhor Scope project is to create open-ended communication with the audience through the series of experimental video-audio art. The videos displayed the mysterious self-expression of a person, place, public, and unrecognized moments that bring the realities to dream and vice-versa. There are possibilities of subjective interpretations and understanding of life metaphorically, in every scene, picture, and play of the people in Scope. Scope series is looking to bring out the viewers' attention, thinkfulness, and emotions with single shots. So the question is: Are we in a show scene or just showing the scene? Magnification of a video-audio material leads to defamiliarization and draws the audience's attention to different structures such as time, memory, expectations, and possibly self-reflection. Scope is phenomenological self-awareness of a subject regardless of the past and the history of it. We are interested in showing the presence of social and public spaces to create a new space for the audience to face self-consciousness.
