🌟 Celebrating 6 Months of being a Small Business Owner 🌟 Today marks a special milestone for me - 6 months since I took the leap into owning my own small business in window furnishings! 🎉 It’s been a journey filled with incredible highs and challenging lows, and I couldn't be more grateful for every moment. Starting this business has strengthened my resilience, creativity, and the importance of community support. I’ve had the privilege of transforming spaces, helping people find beauty in their homes, and connecting with amazing clients. Your trust means the world to me! 🏡✨ But let’s be real—balancing entrepreneurship with being a mum to young children is no easy feat. There are days filled with beautiful chaos: juggling school runs, sick days, and client meetings. Some days I feel like a superhero; other days, I just hope I don’t forget what activity is on that week! (Seriously.....there should be a cap on how many dress up and fundraising days can there be) 🦸♀️🍎 I’m grateful for the lessons learned, the late-night brainstorming sessions, and the unwavering support from my family and friends. Here’s to embracing the challenges, celebrating the wins, and growing together in this journey! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this adventure so far. Your encouragement fuels my passion! 💖 And last but not least - all of this would not be achievable without Corey D. in my corner- the true hero of this journey. https://lnkd.in/gbDkeuAT #SmallBusinessOwner #WindowFurnishings #Gratitude #Entrepreneurship #Milestones

Happy New Year! 🌟 As we turn the chapter to 2024 I’d like to take a moment to reflect on 2023. This is the story of how I transformed a passion into a school project and then into my first job after college. Last spring, in my final semester of college at the University of Colorado Boulder, I had the opportunity to lead a semester-long project writing a business plan for Tom Virden and Emma Martin’s Business Minor Capstone class. Throughout my senior year of college, I spent my weekends working as a line cook at Rosetta Hall, and my culinary obsession was at an all-time high. This inspired my business concept, Tare Kitchens. Tare was essentially a cooking maker space intended to launch in New York City. Imagine a third space where people who love to cook could gather to host events, pop-up restaurants, or experiment with high-quality, zero-waste ingredients and state-of-the-art facilities. When I pitched the idea, it had "a lot of moving parts," but, with the support of our instructors, my team, Sarah Marconi, Matthew Mendoza, LaRae Chamblin-Torres, Max Bekes, and Robert Weber helped write a business plan that really brought the concept to life. Before starting the project, I had only barely heard about the shared kitchen industry, but I was in awe of the growth that could be seen in recent years. Throughout my research, I stumbled upon Nimbus, a co-cooking startup in NYC aiming to reshape the industry with a diverse business model designed to suit the needs of culinary entrepreneurs at any stage of their business. Unique features include hourly turn-key kitchen rentals, beautiful studio kitchens, and event space. I was immediately enthralled - and after a message through LinkedIn and three interviews, I had secured an internship for the fall. Now, four months later, I lead our marketing efforts as Creative Branding & Marketing Associate. Since joining Nimbus, I have witnessed incredible growth and cannot wait to see what 2024 brings. I am so inspired by Camilla Opperman Morse's incredible leadership, and thankful to be working alongside Romina Gupta, Robert Gleyberman, Justin Richter, Arianna Cooper, Tresslyn Brown, and the entire Nimbus team to help passionate food entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality! Five years ago, transitioning from a traditional landscaping business model to a digital platform was no small feat. Company: Gardeniya (a landscaping company) 🌳 ⛳ Objective: Announce the launch of our unique digital platform, designed to make our services more accessible and relatable to both current and potential customers. 🛣 Solution: We crafted a creative campaign to communicate our new direction. Our concept? Introducing a plant with a personality. This character would navigate familiar scenarios that resonate with our audience—whether it's hitting the gym, dining out, or simply lounging in the sunlight on a lazy Sunday morning, perhaps nursing a hangover. I led the team from initial sketches to the full-scale launch across multiple platforms, ensuring every detail aligned with our vision. Outcome: The digital transformation exceeded our expectations. Our new online platform began generating revenue almost immediately after these creative contents were released. 🥁 This is my calling—present me with a challenge, and I'll deliver a creative solution. #BusinessDesign #Innovation #Creativity #ArshiaJahangiri
