“Industry standard” That’s what I was looking for when I started in this business. I wanted to make sure I was doing things the right way, and doing what was expected. After a few years in the industry I have come full circle and now realize that nothing is truly industry standard in Multifamily. The question I try to ask myself is what can I improve on from the standard people have set. I think that is important for investors as well. You never know who or what is going to happen during LOI negotiations, Due Diligence, or the closing period but if you try to push to be better that is more deals coming your way. I don’t personally think an Armageddon of distressed assets is coming our way but I know when I get deals like that to sell I will be careful about who I call first and they are always the ones that tried harder to do better at every turn. #multifamily #gulfcoastmultifamily #svntpa
