Celebrating Another Year: Reflecting on 25 and Looking Forward 🎉 As I approach my 25th birthday on September 5th, I can’t help but reflect on the incredible journey of this past year and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. This year has been filled with valuable lessons and growth: - Professional Growth: Working at PaymentEvolution has provided me with opportunities to sharpen my skills in sales and client relations. Each day brings new challenges and achievements that continue to shape my career path. - Personal Development: Personally, I've learned the importance of balance and self-care. Taking time to recharge and pursue hobbies has been essential in maintaining focus and productivity. - Building Relationships: I've had the privilege of connecting with amazing individuals—clients, colleagues, and mentors—who have enriched my professional and personal life. Looking ahead to the next year: - Career Goals: I’m excited to continue advancing in my role at PaymentEvolution, exploring new strategies in sales, and contributing to our clients' success. - Learning and Development: I plan to further my education in sales techniques and explore new areas of interest that align with my career aspirations. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey thus far—your support and encouragement mean the world to me. Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and making a positive impact!

With the rise of AI, many fear it will take away our jobs. However, one thing AI cannot replicate is tacit knowledge—knowledge gained through personal experience. Even for humans, tacit knowledge is challenging to codify because it is deeply rooted in individual experiences and specific contexts. The best way to transfer tacit knowledge is through human interaction such as 1-on-1, or a knowledge-sharing communities. Such communities foster an environment where people can share, learn, and collaborate to create richer knowledge—something AI cannot achieve. I believe AI never will, as it operates on the assumption that it is always right, whereas only humans can identify and correct their errors.

Challenge: Start your day with 3 things you are grateful for and it will transform your perspective in both your business and personal life. Gratitude is more than just a feeling - it’s a guiding principle in both my personal and professional life. I’m grateful for my supportive family and the opportunities that have shaped my journey. I’m also thankful for my team at WRL, who prioritise gratitude and foster a positive work culture and stronger client relationships. Practising gratitude has taught me resilience, empathy and the importance of acknowledging others’ contributions. How is gratitude guiding you in your career? 👇

Happy beautiful Saturday 🙏 Today’s appreciation post is a masterpiece, a celebration of life, hope, belief in humanity and wonderful people and initiatives 🙏 Today marks two whole years since the very first appreciation post began🥹🥹🙏🙏 An appreciation post that his/her owner know nothing about when it will be published, or what it states. A post that is written with zero preparation/planning from my side, however with 100% meaningful, full heartedly and true words that resonates with the person/initiative to be appreciated ❤️ simply being simple, compassionate and authentic 😍 The aim of the post is to genuinely salute people and initiatives that inspire on a personal or professional level 🙏🌹 I never imagined back then that I would post more than a couple of times. But then I saw how much the posts meant to me, the receiver and many others, it became my weekend’s highlight 🙏 Gratitude ignited joy, thankfulness, solidarity, togetherness, diversity, equity, inclusion and sustainability 🙏🙏🥹 For you, me and us🙏 Grateful for you all 🌹Happy 3rd Appreciation anniversary 🙌🏽💥🎉 You all are good enough 🙏 Be authentic and compassionate. Appreciate more and show gratefulness 🌹It pays off 🙏 Have a lovely weekend everyone 🌹 And yes! Diversity is a fact (no one lives your life except YOU) Inclusion is an act. An active act 🤝🏾🤝🏾🤲🏽 Be Kind❤️🌹 #diversityequityinclusion #payingitforward #goodenough #empoweringsuccess #poweredbydifference #appreciationpost #ikigai

I developed a habit of setting goals both from a professional standpoint and on a personal level. There's that feeling that comes when you look back and realise, you 'did' it. I also realised that at this stage of my life, every moment counts and I don't have another 30 or so years to go back around the career circle. That's why everyday counts. No experience is wasted. Goals and goal setting is a big deal. Setting goals keeps you accountable, responsible and focused. It builds character, and develop your determination muscle. This month in particular is very special to me. It is my 21st wedding anniversary month, and also my crossing over and taking possession month (more on this later.) Do you set goals? No judgement really, but my recommendations are: - Write your vision, and make them plain on tablets. - Verbalize what you desire to see happen for you and for others. - Ask a trusted friend to hold you accountable. - Take personal responsibility for your actions. Trust me, by the end of the year, you will see notable changes in you, your accomplishments, and possibly in those around you. #happynewmonth

According to my recent LinkedIn notifications, I've just had my 22nd anniversary at Firstsource, 16 years of which have been in the collections sector, so I thought I’d share a thought for the benefit of anyone in the formative stages of their career in collections. The industry and world in which we operate have shifted massively over this time, but some age-old truths remain as relevant today as they were back then. When things are good, and you feel like you’re flying, don’t let it go to your head. Enjoy the moment but prepare yourself for the tougher times ahead, and the tough times won’t feel so bad when they come. And when things are tough, and you’re struggling to see how you could turn it around, don’t let it weigh too heavy on your shoulders. In our sector, this is especially true. The collection market is cyclical and subject to macro-economic conditions that we have no personal influence over. That can feel daunting for some at times, but if there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my career it’s that focusing on the things you can personally influence, and facing up to and riding the inevitable waves heading your way is a far better policy to embrace. Thank you to everyone who got in touch – I’m already looking forward to my 23rd anniversary 😃 Image from Jeremy Bishop, via Unsplash #Resilience #Leadership #Wellbeing #MentalHealth
