Happy Diwali to all (Diwali week) Diwali is the festival of light. It symbolizes the triumph of knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and light over darkness. As I see my neighbors putting out many diyas (tea lights) and preparing festive goodies, some encouraging thoughts come to my mind: 1) No matter how dark our darkest day is, eventually, as we exit the tunnel of darkness, we will see the light. What is needed here is the grit and patience to survive our darkest days. 2) I am always intrigued by the beautiful and vibrant patterns of rangoli, which I associate with Diwali celebrations. Celebrate success, celebrate life in ways that we deem beautiful and full of vibrancy, as it is never easy to have the grit and patience to consistently move towards the light at the end of the tunnel. 3) Gifting traditional sweets—my ex-colleague used to treat us to traditional Diwali sweets. Later, I realized this act of gifting has a deeper significance of gifting positivity and prosperity. Goodness in life needs to be shared and spread in order for one to truly enjoy it. May all of us work in our capacity toward our light, celebrate life and success with vibrancy, and bring the goodness of life to others. #happydiwali #celebratelifesuccesswithvibtancy #giftinggoodnessoflife

Protect your team's mental energy from Negative People – It’s as Important as Any Business Decision Ever leave a conversation feeling worn out, like your energy’s been drained? Sometimes, it’s the people around us who cause it. They may be stuck in a cycle of negativity, stress, or criticism, or they’re simply focused on pulling others down. Being around them feels like running on empty. I have a simple rule in my life - both personal and professional - to avoid such people as much as I can. Here’s an easy way to spot them: after spending 15 - 20 minutes with them, you’ll feel unusually tired and unmotivated. But with the right people - those who bring positivity - you’ll feel motivated and energized. In my previous venture, we once had a client who was a major financial institution. Their project manager constantly harassed our team, crossing boundaries for the urgency of project delivery. I understand client timelines are important, and we respect our clients’ needs. But when this project manager started using abusive language with one of our female team members, I’d had enough. We reached out to their senior team, who assured us it wouldn’t happen again. But, as these situations often go, the pattern repeated itself. So we took a stand: if they weren’t willing to change the project manager, we wouldn’t work with them anymore. Despite the revenue we’d lose, protecting my team’s mental well-being was more important than any account. At my current venture GreyLabs AI, I applied the same principle when we received a lead from a large financial conglomerate. We’d worked with them in the past and knew they often mistreated their service providers and delayed payments. Rather than pursue a stressful partnership, I told my team to pass the lead to competitors who might be more suited for it. As a founder, I hold my team’s mental energy and well-being just as highly as my own. Negative clients, no matter their size, create a toxic environment. And if you let that kind of energy into your workspace, it impacts everyone’s motivation and productivity. In business, it’s natural to think that every lead or every client matters. But some clients come at too high a cost. When you prioritize a positive work culture, you’re not only protecting your team - you’re ensuring you have the energy and focus to build something great. Key Takeaway: Choose your clients as carefully as you choose your team. Protecting positive energy isn’t just good for morale; it’s essential for success. By focusing on clients who respect us and lift us up, we create a culture where everyone can thrive and bring their best to the table. PS: Want to join us? We are hiring for multiple roles. This week, many families are preparing to celebrate Diwali (di-vah-li), a festival of lights observed mainly by people in the Hindu faith tradition. The holiday symbolizes the triumph of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. The video below explains its significance. Interesting fact: Earlier this month, Pennsylvania passed a law with bipartisan support recognizing Diwali as a public holiday - the first state to do so. With North Carolina having more than 440,000 Asian American residents, and Indian Americans making up the largest ethnic group, will it be the next state to make Diwali a public holiday? https://lnkd.in/eQx-xBpX

Happy Diwali! 🌟 As we celebrate the Festival of Lights, let’s reflect on some life lessons that resonate beyond the festivities: 1. Embrace New Beginnings: Diwali signifies the triumph of light over darkness. It’s a reminder to welcome new opportunities and growth in our personal and professional lives. 2. The Power of Community: Just as families and friends gather to celebrate, collaboration and teamwork are essential for success. Support one another and celebrate collective achievements. 3. Resilience and Hope: Diwali teaches us to remain hopeful even in challenging times. Cultivate resilience and maintain a positive outlook—it's key to overcoming obstacles. 4. Gratitude: Take a moment to appreciate your journey and those who have supported you. Expressing gratitude fosters strong relationships and a positive work environment. 5. Continuous Learning: Just as the festival involves preparation and planning, investing in personal development and lifelong learning keeps us relevant and innovative. Happy Diwali to All Who Celebrate!! As Diwali fills homes with lights and colours, it’s a beautiful reminder of the triumph of light over darkness, a theme that resonates deeply beyond the celebration itself. In life, and particularly in the work of mindset, this theme serves as a powerful metaphor. Light represents clarity, purpose, and growth, while darkness often stands for the doubts, fears, and limiting beliefs that can hold us back. Just as Diwali’s divas and fireworks illuminate the night, each of us has the ability to find light within, no matter how challenging our circumstances. In my work, I’ve seen time and again that a simple shift in mindset can bring us closer to our goals, help us navigate tough times, and ultimately guide us toward a brighter version of ourselves. It’s not always easy, but it’s always possible. So as you celebrate this Diwali, may you invite more light into your life, more hope, more kindness, more strength. Wishing everyone celebrating a Diwali filled with love, laughter, and lasting joy. And to all my network, may you find light in every corner of your life, today and always. #Diwali #FestivalOfLights #Mindset #Coaching #LightOverDarkness #HappyDiwali

As the results are out; a day before Diwali. While many of you are celebrating, I know that for some, today brings a different kind of opinion. To everyone who passed—𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒! You’ve worked hard, celebrate every bit of this moment. You deserve it! And to those who didn’t make it through this time—𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦, 𝘐 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶. 𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦. But let me tell you this, 𝐂𝐀 𝐞𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐨 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. Today may not be your day, but that doesn’t define your journey. This result isn’t the end; it’s just a chapter. Don’t let one result take away your Diwali spirit. Take a pause, enjoy the festival, and let the warmth of Diwali be a reminder of new beginnings and brighter days ahead. Remember, CA is one of the toughest journeys out there. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶’𝘳𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵. So, light that diya tomorrow not just for Diwali but for your inner strength, your dedication, and your dreams. Keep going, because that's the only way to move forward. Wishing everyone strength, peace, and a Diwali filled with light and hope. And Happy Choti Diwali to you all. P.S: Last year, during Diwali I remember myself engaged in book so deeply that I had no time to see what is happening around. Not celebrating it a bit with happiness because of the stress of exams. But when I recall that part, It makes me smile that everything happens for a reason. So, Let’s not loose hope even for a single moment. #CAResults #Resilience #DiwaliHope #KeepGoing #Diwali #StrengthInJourney #ICAI #CAFoundation #CAIntermediate
