When we hear "sales", all we think about is – "quota", "win rate", "contract value", etc. While great salespeople care about these personal KPIs, they also deeply care about these underlying forces for the company too. 👇 1️⃣ They take the time and proactively share the market and customer feedback with product teams all the time, and not only when that feature is a "deal breaker". 2️⃣ They care about their craft of CRM hygiene, communication etiquettes, documentation organization, etc. – even if it's not required and nobody is watching them. 3️⃣ They are drivers and are constantly pushing the company to create and document best practices and scalable playbooks. 4️⃣ They share knowledge and industry insights to raise fellow salespeople along the way as they believe the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. They play a long game. While you may not be able to attribute that working on these things helps exceed their quota, improve the win rate, etc. But it ultimately results in a better customer experience and better products – which ultimately, are easier to sell.
