Latin Resources Limited (ASX:LRS, OTC:LRSRF) VP of operations in the Americas Tony Greenaway joins Proactive’s Elisha Newell after high-grade drill results confirmed the scale of the Planalto prospect at Latin’s #SalinasLithiumProject in Brazil. Recent drilling results have identified a wide, thick mineralisation core at Planalto, suggesting potential for increased tonnage at the Salinas Project. This high-grade zone remains open along strike in both directions, down dip, and up plunge to the south-west, indicating an extension closer to the surface. Greenaway notes that the Planalto prospect shares similar mineralisation characteristics with the company's Colina Deposit, which has long been the subject of Latin’s exploration and development campaign. So far, Planalto's stacked pegmatite lenses exhibit a shallower dip, but the coarse-grained, spodumene-only mineralisation is consistent with Colina's. Labyrinth Resources Limited (ASX:LRL) CEO Jennifer Neild, highlights the company’s current operational strategy and future prospects in an interview with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion. ASX-listed Labyrinth Resources manages two mining assets: the Labyrinth mine in Canada and the Comet Vale mine in Western Australia. The Canadian site, notable for its 500,000-ounce #gold resource at an average of five grammes per tonne, is being sold, which will add approximately A$5.3 million (US$3.5 million) to the company’s finances. This sale will enable further exploration at Comet Vale, which ceased mining in 2020 but shows promise for substantial gold deposits, indicated by previous exploration results and historical mining activity. Couldn’t agree more. But our critical mineral explorers need more help with financings. Right now support in the supply chain is biased downstream. In the north, we would benefit from northern mineral exploration tax credit which all three territories have asked from Canada for several years now. But Finance Canada still refuses to create one despite even NRCan and Northern Affairs’ support, and backed by positive economic analysis. Go figure.

First-pass drilling of the Ternera East target has intercepted a newly identified, thick (+200m) well-mineralised El Zorro Tonalite (EZT) intrusive, the primary gold host at Ternera. This new discovery is a potential major fault offset of the main Ternera Deposit. Managing Director Zeff Reeves says: “This discovery at Ternera East is one of the most significant results from El Zorro and has the potential to materially change its scale. The identification of this well-mineralised EZT represents a potential uplifted extension or offset of the main Ternera Deposit, which could rapidly add substantial ounces to our existing 1.3Moz Mineral Resource.” TSO is currently undertaking an accelerated drill program to rapidly define this exciting new target.
