Something new for the Careers Advisors and Teachers out there. Myself and the fabulous team The Institute for Agriculture & Horticulture have just completed work on a document to support the integration of careers in Ag/Hort into secondary science lessons. Over 30 job roles from across the farming and growing sectors have been linked to lesson content in years 7-10 of the science curriculum. Once you have taught a lesson you can use the resources to take a deep OR shallow dive into how that knowledge could be used by a practitioner of agriculture or horticulture. There are websites, salary information, key employers, videos, qualifications info and activities linked to each role.
