With all the devastating news, in what the new governing leadership well bring in January, as we once again have climate initiatives dismantled and set back. It is time to lean into community more than ever. (Environmental conservation and climate initiatives should not be politicized. All governing parties should understand the quintessential threat inaction will have on our planet.) - We must not forget that true change comes from within grassroots movements, social campaigns and peoples voices collectively. Power is in the people Now more than ever, let's rekindle our community bonds and collective resilience. Remember, we are one shared humanity, intricately connected with the natural world. Our inner light unites us with one another and with the Earth. As we embrace this truth, let's move forward together-encouraged, uplifted, and ready to create the positive change our people and our planet need. #community #climatechange #grassroots #climateoptimism

The urgency for climate justice action has never been clearer. Earth Day is our opportunity to redouble our efforts to advance systems-level and interdisciplinary solutions to addressing climate risk and supporting those enduring disproportionate impact--frontline communities, children, and youth among other populations. We need nonprofits, universities, corporates, and public sector partners at every level to join the collaborative solution space. Earth Day is a poignant reminder of the interdependencies among all life forms on this fragile planet--and of the imperative to protect it for generations to come. Nature For Justice was founded in 2020 with the goal of utilizing Nature-based Solutions and carbon markets for climate justice, developing projects that view communities as genuine partners and create long-lasting value for both people and nature. The well-being, food security, livelihoods, and supply chains of over a billion people are being severely impacted by the climate crisis, particularly in frontline communities. These communities have the ability to play a significant role in combatting climate change and revitalizing nature. In many cases, community partners are required to take on a large amount of risk without receiving a fair share of the financial gains in conservation and carbon initiatives.
