Anyone that has created proper subcommunities in their community environment? 🧐 I think you'd want to have some minimum engagement in the overall community before creating private subcommunities and gating valuable community discussions for a limited number of people. If not it might work against you and engagement in the overall community. What were your community participation levels and community member base sizes when you created your first subcommunity? Also, did community engagement go down afterwards? Would be interesting to see..

Maybe this is a lukewarm take, but as a community builder, you shouldn't have to feel pressured to constantly be building community outside of where you work. If you love it, great keep at it! But, if you just want to focus your time on something else, please do that. There is no need to pressure yourself into ABC (always building community). #community #communitymanagement

As professionals in our respective industries, it is important for us to recognize the value of building community both within our organizations and in the broader community around us. The insights shared in Tracy Brower's article highlight the significant impact that community can have on our mental, physical, and emotional well-being. In our fast-paced and increasingly digital world, it is easy to become disconnected from those around us. However, by actively seeking out common interests, creating inclusive spaces, and engaging in regular interactions, we can begin to build the strong communities that we all need to thrive. I encourage you to reflect on how you can contribute to building community in your own life and within your professional networks. Whether it's through organizing team-building activities, participating in volunteer opportunities, or simply reaching out to a colleague in need, there are countless ways to foster connection and support. I would love to hear your thoughts on this topic and how you are working to build community in your own life and work. Let's continue the

Community strength isn't about size. It's the bonds between members. 🤝 Strengthen community by: ➡️ Organizing events that bring people together ➡️ Addressing community needs collaboratively ➡️ Creating platforms for open dialogue ➡️ Celebrating achievements as a group ➡️ Fostering culture of mutual support Small actions create far-reaching effects. Every interaction builds community strength. Your role is more significant than imagined. Strong communities adapt to challenges together. They're built on trust and vision. Resilient communities embrace diverse perspectives. They turn differences into collective strength. A strong community turns '𝘮𝘦' into '𝘸𝘦'. Be the change. Your community needs you. 🍃 #WeMakeImpact

A lot of the conversations I've been having this past week have been about community: building community; pulling together teams to help communities meet their needs; establishing cooperative networks so all stakeholders in a relationship can benefit; and, finally, meeting the right people who can contribute to these purpose-built communities. Physical community building happens naturally because we can SEE when someone needs us but today our need for community is emotional, not physical. We need to be seen and acknowledged on this journey, even if it’s only a friendly nod from a stranger as you are walking down the street and that can make all the difference in someone’s life. We are all in this together ---Life, this journey! Smile and say hello. #Community #CommunityConsciousness #CommunityBuilding #teambuilding #groupdynamics #communitydevelopment #relationshipdevelopment #lonelinessepidemic #loneliness https://lnkd.in/gJsgUGCC
