More reasons to hire a polymer scientist. Polymer Engineer or Polymer chemist: 1. They bring a knowledge of polymer to polymer adhesion, you see the polymers should be miscible, have a chemical mechanism to bond and be above their tga when brought together. 2. A polymer scientist understand polymer flow theology. They know what courses shear thinning and thickening. They have techniques like capillary rheometry to sleuth out the flow characteristics. 3. They can monitor the concentration of volatile ingredients through out the process and determine initially the concentration. Of the substance in the twin screw mixer is properly distributed using transmission or are ftir. More to come
