Give them 5 Years, and Humans have no Work left to do, than createtiv Thinking. Those Robots will reproduce them Self in Factorys and build Houses what so ever...

First Stop: AI to AGI. Second Stop: Fully Autonomous Machines. Third Stop: Human-Machine Convergence. Final Stop: Human Transformation? (TBD). There is a revolution in our midst that we are not prepared for nor preparing for. Many still think this is hype and conjecture. Denial is not a Tactic. Get busy or get obsolete.

Even my cleaning bot can charge itself when battery is low, mind you it's 2nd gen. The latest is 7th gen :)

to be fair, my 5 year old vacuum robot has been able to do that since it's release.

How is this different than my Roomba, going back to it’s base to recharge and then finish vacuuming without human intervention?

I'm a bit confused as to why this feature is deemed as such a great thing. Robot vacuums have had this feature for years, what's so hard to bring it into another robot which has even more sensors and greater capabilities?

Lol my robot vacuum cleaner also goes to it's charger when it runs out 🤣 granted, I'm also excited when it does so, but the presenter here makes it sound like it's an absolutely unique feature.

What about if you could invest in a robot that went to work in your place? The employer would still have to pay a salary to the robot worker but they wouldn't have to own the asset. If your robot was more advanced than others you would get the work.

Bill Gates nailed it: we overestimate short-term progress and underestimate long-term impact. Autonomous driving's future relies on balancing ambition with humility. http://lnkd.in/gD6dtrVi
