Embarking on my transition into the medical device industry, I’ve been building new connections, each opening new doors. An awesome moment was speaking with a territory manager from a reputable company about an open position. Though I learned their position was filled, this interaction was far from a setback. Here’s why: ✔️Personal Touch: The manager chose a phone call over a simple LinkedIn message, showing genuine interest and respect. This reflects the collaborative spirit of the industry. ✔️Open Possibilities: Discovering the role was almost filled didn’t signal an end but highlighted the importance of timing and persistence in career growth. It underscored that every conversation is a step forward, not back. ✔️Valuable Connection: This conversation added a pivotal link to my network, potentially leading to future opportunities in the medical device industry. Facing challenges in this field is an opportunity to cultivate resilience. Changing my perspective to see every interaction as a learning experience has been key. Each step, each conversation, is part of a journey that’s shaping me professionally and personally, teaching me the importance of resilience and a positive outlook. I’m embracing every moment, learning from each experience, and advancing with determination. Here’s to the journey ahead!

I started a new position at Lone Wolf on October 1st—about a month ago—and I think it’s time to reflect on what a whirlwind it’s been. Here are 5 things I’ve learned so far: 👉 Reaching out for help is okay: You’re new, and it takes time to understand the company’s values and tone. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. 👉 A welcoming environment is key: A welcoming atmosphere is important from both sides—whether it’s the company or yourself. Feeling comfortable in your new role is crucial for growth and productivity. 👉 No question is stupid: Ask as many questions as you need to. Don’t hesitate to seek clarification or ask for help when you have doubts. 👉 Be honest about your strengths and areas where you need help: For example, I’m strong in social media and PR, so I didn’t need much assistance in those areas. However, I needed more guidance on industry norms and events, and it’s important to be transparent about that. 👉 Working from the office is better than working from home: In the office, you get to meet people, learn from their journeys, and most importantly gain a deeper understanding of the company. This, in turn, leads to better quality of work. Overall, the first month has been a journey of growth, learning, and adaptation. Looking forward to what’s ahead and continuing to build on what I’ve learned so far! 😊

Today, I’m kicking off the week with a trip to collaborate with other leaders in the Ferrara organization. As I sit in the airport, I’m reminded of one truth about sales: the work never really stops. Walking through the travel retail outlets, I can’t help but notice the displays, promotions, and products that catch my eye. It’s a natural reflex as a salesperson to think about how our brands show up in these spaces and how we can make an even greater impact. Traveling on a Monday might mean an early start, but it’s also a reminder of the opportunities that come with being part of something bigger. Collaboration drives growth, and growth drives results. Here’s to a productive week ahead—and to always keeping our eyes open for the next big opportunity! 👀

VALUE, PRICE AND PLACE A water bottle is INR 20 for a litre at a local shop. It becomes INR 50 at a cinema hall, INR 100 at the airport and may be more somewhere else. The bottle is the same but the price differs because of the place. Individuals'worth and potential can be perceived differently depending on their surroundings, environment, or circumstances. This highlights the importance of finding the right fit and being in a place where your skills, talents, and contributions are truly valued and recognized. If you feel undervalued or underappreciated, it may be a sign that you need to reevaluate your current situation and explore new opportunities where your worth can be fully realized. Remember, your value and potential are not defined by your current circumstances. 12.5 years ago, I embarked on an untraditional career journey with 3 seasons in the travel ski industry as a snowboarder. Fresh out of University of California, Riverside, I found myself organizing and hosting group ski trips for 500+ participants across the United States and Canada. In the off-season, I was presenting bids at conferences and networking like crazy. The job didn’t pay much, but I was having a blast! Little did I know, those three ski seasons were laying the foundation for my inside sales and people skills. Today, I heavily rely on those transferable skills in my role in client success. Moving from behind-the-scenes marketing strategy and data analysis for 8.5 years to a client-facing, relationship-building position, I realize how invaluable those early experiences were. Embracing non-traditional career paths can lead to unexpected skill development and opportunities. Never underestimate the value of diverse experiences—they can shape your career in ways you never imagined. What's the strangest place you learned a skill set that has served you well in your career?
