In just 2 hours, I crafted a video entirely on my iPhone—from scripting to filming and editing. Here's how: •Crystal Clear Vision: I started with a precise idea of the message and atmosphere I wanted to convey, laying a solid foundation for the project. •Efficient Coaching: Quickly and effectively guiding those on camera ensured smooth filming and captured the essence of the message. Their willingness to participate was crucial. •Strategic Equipment Use: Leveraging affordable gear like $15 wireless lapels from Amazon and using cinematic mode on my iPhone, I achieved high-quality results without breaking the bank. •Intelligent Editing Decision: Editing in Canva seamlessly integrated branding elements, typography, and color schemes, resulting in a cohesive and professional video. •Action-Oriented Approach: By diving in without overthinking, I embraced creativity and spontaneity, leading to a fast and effective production. While not professional-grade, the video served its purpose effectively. Though lacking the polish of a professional studio, the video's effectiveness and quick turnaround highlight the importance of resourcefulness and maintaining standards in communication. Even with limited tools, it's possible to convey messages effectively and impactfully.

"Deciding to homeschool my four daughters was formed in a group setting, as I was surrounded by brilliant friends, and resilience and passion were our common denominators. It was the 1980s, where a yet-unknown boom was about to take place, and we were on the front lines." Read the full article here: https://loom.ly/dky6v9g -- Enjoying Intellectual Takeout? https://lnkd.in/eZxHHpvF Schoolhouse Rock Life, liberty, and justice" are foundational concepts often associated with the principles of democracy and human rights. Here's a brief overview of each: 1. **Life**: This concept emphasizes the fundamental right of every individual to live. It encompasses not just the physical existence of a person, but also the opportunity for a fulfilling life, including access to necessary resources such as food, shelter, and healthcare. 2. **Liberty**: Liberty refers to the individual's freedom to make choices without undue restraint or oppression. This includes freedom of speech, religion, and the right to pursue one's own path, as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others. It is a core principle in democratic societies that supports the protection of personal freedoms and autonomy. 3. **Justice**: Justice involves the fair treatment of individuals and the equitable application of laws and standards. It seeks to ensure that all individuals have access to due process and that wrongdoings are addressed fairly and appropriately. This also includes social justice, which pertains to the distribution of resources and opportunities in society. These principles are often enshrined in legal frameworks, constitutions, and international human rights documents, and they serve as guiding ideals for governments and societies worldwide.

🚸 Back-to-School Crosswalk Safety Reminder! 🚸 As schools reopen, ensuring the safety of children walking to and from school is essential. Ruby Bridges, a civil rights icon renowned for her bravery and advocacy for educational equality, inspires us to prioritize safety in school zones. To support this mission, AAA Mountain West Group has partnered with the Ruby Bridges Foundation to host another year of Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day in November which underscores the importance of crosswalk safety. Here are a few key back to school reminders to help keep our students safe: 🛑 Slow Down in School Zones: Speed limits are reduced for a reason. Stay alert and drive cautiously. 🚶♀️ Yield to Pedestrians: Always stop for children and crossing guards in crosswalks. They have the right of way. 👀 Stay Focused: Eliminate distractions like texting or eating while driving near schools or bus stops. ⏰ Plan Ahead: Give yourself extra time during school hours to account for slower speeds and increased pedestrian activity. Stay tuned for more as we approach RBWTSD! Learn more about the AAA partnership with Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day and its significance by watching this video. #CrosswalkSafety #RubyBridges #WalkToSchoolDay #SchoolZoneSafety #BackToSchoolSafety #DriveSafe

It may look like our school is a lot of free play outdoors. And it 100% is. Because they’re kids and that’s what their bodies and brains need. But these small heroes are not to be underestimated. They also: Engage in diplomatic, socratic discussion—daily. They courageously solve interpersonal disputes without adult intervention—daily. They hold each other accountable—daily. They find creative ways to solve their OWN problems—daily. They set up, amend and vote on their community’s systems—daily. They are in the details and in charge of their own education—daily. They are learning to be exceptional humans that think CRITICALLY and are willing to fail in the process—daily. Do they learn math? Yes. Do they learn science? Yes. Do they learn to read? Yes. Of course they do. I don’t know many parents that wouldn’t sign off on an education without those elements. But the emphasis is on something else—it’s on championing amazing people and future leaders who know how to think for themselves, take a stand for their beliefs and interact with peers, guardians and leaders in a respectful, productive way. At Acton we ENCOURAGE failure. Often. When the stakes are low. Don’t you wish you’d have learned to fail well earlier on? I do. People ask me often about Acton. It’s hard to explain it easily. It’s layered and messy and beautiful and profound. It challenges us as a family. And I think that’s just the beauty of not being able to easily answer… “What is Acton?”
