OK industry now is your chance... Summer is over, and school has begun all across our nation. Now is your opportunity to learn of the different automotive, diesel, and collision programs in your area that are taught in the high schools. Let's help those programs get on their feet. First and foremost through your mentorship. Know who the teachers are, find out how you can help the program and set the example by driving your business forward through talking to the students about your companies and the great opportunities you have and help them to learn about the trades. You could help through donations to their programs like a set of tools or a core engine. Often times the schools are not supporting these programs, It is a sad but true reality. It doesn't have to be expensive it just has to be worth it. If you are not able to do the above consider a donation to the Love Trades Foundation. This is an amazing foundation that is supporting students through scholarships to get into a trade school, it is a great way to support your industry and get more students into learning a trade that will change their lives.
