I cannot think of a better 30 minutes to learn about XR in nursing education than Dr. Cait Yeager on #ExploreXR. She is incredibly succinct and entertaining as she summarizes use of XR at Ursuline College. We get asked many questions by customers and prospects alike: ❓How do we use XR in our curriculum? ❓What is the value relative to traditional, analog methods? ❓How do students react? ❓What is the value of MR vs VR? ❓Does XR scale? ❓Is XR economically advantageous? Dr. Yeager answers all of these and more! She and her colleagues have done an incredible job of implementing XR that we can all learn from. Highly suggest you give it a listen.
In this episode of ExploreXR, David King Lassman is joined by Dr. Cait Yeager, who serves as the Director of the Health Resource and Simulation Center at the Breen School of Nursing and Health Professions at Ursuline College. She has over 18 years of experience as a nurse with a specialty in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing and has over 10 years of experience as a nurse educator. https://lnkd.in/gUj_Hw8F

AI will never be able to replace the art of nursing. It is going to be one of the best innovations healthcare has ever seen, as long as we have comprehensive and holistic AI strategies. In-House Health is by far my favorite industry leader in AI. I got to speak with Zenith Tillemann-Dick and Kelli McDevitt, CPA again today. And its always amazing at the cool stuff they are doing to truly help with the staffing crisis. Nurse designed and nurse centered, they just get it. You want to advocate for the profession? You want to make a difference? Get admin to at least agree to a pilot. The nurse leader consultants at In-House Health can even help you get you to an RFP point with leadership. The best way to make actionable change is not by wishing for the government and associations to figure it out. It’s by trying technology that is profitable for your organization and helping to solve some of the most complex issues you face daily… for you!!!! Paper schedules. Balancing call outs. Flipping through binders of PTO slips, trying to remember who everyone is and what their skill level is? Those days are GONE. Have a weekend house supervisor doing the schedule and they only work a few nights a months, perfect. They can staff efficiently and like they know the staff with this technology. Stop errors. Stop sentinel events. Save money. Save staff. It’s simple. :) Excited for the #innovation that awaits us all! #Healthcare
