If you're still using #Magento 2.4.1 or below (2.3, 2.2), your life is going to get increasingly more difficult as services and extensions stop supporting it. Packagist for open source modules will require Composer 2 starting in August 2025. Magento is compatible with Composer 2 as of version 2.4.2 (*released Feb 2021), but older versions are not. That means if you're on Magento 2.3, starting August, you might not be able to update with composer. PCI compliance also requires running on supported software, and simply put, Magento 2.3 and below are not supported software anymore. Also, your site has probably been hacked because you're missing critical security updates. Keep your stuff up to date.

Did everything just disappear from a page with a new, custom layout? Magento uses a hierarchical structure where child layouts inherit from parent layouts. I manage several sites using Craft CMS. The Craft team recently released Craft 5, and I am eager to migrate these sites to v5. Plugins can be a bottleneck for major version upgrades, but don’t be discouraged! You’ve got options. 1. Wait for the plugin developer to create a Craft 5 version. 2. Try updating it yourself. Most plugins have public source code; depending on the plugin, the developer might appreciate your contribution. Today, Rob Erskine merged my proposed changes into his plugin, Craft User Manual, making it Craft 5 compatible. The Craft 5 updates are relatively easy, and you can interact with other developers.
