Provocation in art... I often recall my projects through photographs without having to take the tapestries out of their heavy boxes. These are usually spontaneous photos, sometimes not suitable for publication because they are not perfect, maybe inelegant, often taken immediately after being cut from the weaving frame. Today I focused on a photo presenting a tapestry collage; "Blue Dresses" inspired by the paintings of Spanish painters. Presented on linkedin in several versions, but each time I focused on a different aspect of the project. The idea of this project was to create ,,Haute Couture" of the Baroque era. Today I focused my attention on the portrait of the Girls. On the eloquent, penetrating look, this is a strange feeling that I did not experience while creating the tapestry. Perhaps it is the fault of the too long creative process during which one also experiences the so-called creative crisis when questions multiply about the sense of continuing art that has already become history. Today I have just rediscovered this project. The Girls from the portrait looked at me and tears of my emotion were shed... This is the essence of art, when the artist feels satisfaction from his own creative work despite the trends prevailing in contemporary art, critics and calculations art market.
