Introducing the FINO, the RAYO and the LUXOR. 'Lighting, your way' is what we promise. And it's what we deliver. Our clients were asking for a few additions to our portfolio, so that's wat we did. The FINO is a low power mini LED spotlight that can be seamlessly integrated into any space. The RAYO is slightly larger in size, but it's still very compact. It's allure lies in the 'pinhole'. This ingenious feasture emits light through a tiny aperture, with precision and finesse. Finally, the LUXOR is a rectangular downlight that emits a diffused glow, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The creators, Limina Studios, faced unique challenges in capturing this historical wonder. From intense sunlight to complex logistics, their dedication to preserving the site’s beauty is inspiring. Here’s what they had to say; “The key challenges in creating this Digital Twin were working against a deadline... With Limina Studios’ photography background, the importance of lighting is a key consideration, so we choose to capture our scans at twilight... Due to the limited window of time to capture at twilight, we made numerous visits to the exact same location to capture the scans required.” This digital twin offers a glimpse into 200,000 years of human history and is a fantastic example oh how digital twin are becoming an integral part of conservation. #UAE🇦🇪The Colossal Head 🗿now on display at #LouvreAbuDhabi 🇫🇷🇦🇪 lobby earns the adjective in its name with stout aplomb. The ancient sculpture, on loan from the Museum of Anthropology in #Xalapa, #Mexico🇲🇽, is carved out of a large block of basalt and weighs almost six tonnes – or 5,840kg, to be exact. The Olmec civilization, one of the earliest in Mesoamerica, thrived between approximately 1500 BCE and 400 BCE along the Gulf Coast of modern-day Mexico, primarily in the states of Veracruz and Tabasco. Often referred to as the "mother culture" of Mesoamerica, the #Olmecs greatly influenced later civilizations like the #Maya and #Aztecs. Known for their monumental stone heads, which are believed to represent rulers, the Olmecs were skilled in art, architecture, and city planning. They developed early writing systems, calendars, and engaged in long-distance trade. Their ceremonial centers, such as San Lorenzo and La Venta, featured pyramids, plazas, and altars, demonstrating advanced societal structures. Religiously, the Olmecs practiced shamanism and worshipped a range of deities, with a particular emphasis on the #jaguar 🐆, which they believed had spiritual significance. Their contributions laid the foundation for many elements of later Mesoamerican cultures, including urban planning, religious practices, and artistic traditions. Despite their decline around 400 BCE, the legacy of the Olmec civilization persisted through the cultural developments of succeeding #Mesoamerican peoples.
