At Orlando Family Stage, we see it every day: live theatre inspires bravery, builds empathy, and connects families through unforgettable shared experiences. That’s why we’ve launched the No Empty Seat campaign—to raise $125,000 and fill 5,000 seats for students, low-income families, and community groups across the region. We’re already 65% of the way there, thanks to these incredible lead donors: 👏 Dr. Phillips Charities 👏 Massey Services, Inc. 👏 Elizabeth Morse Genius Foundation 👏 United Arts of Central Florida - Arts and Culture Access Fund 👏 Orlando Magic 👏 First Horizon Bank 👏 Emeritus Council member John Sprouls and Joee Gaida With their support, we’ve raised $81,000 so far, filling 3,240 seats! 🎟️✨ But we still have more families waiting for their moment of joy, connection, and inspiration. How You Can Help: Join us and help fill the final seats. Every $250 brings 10 people into the theater—creating moments of magic and building a stronger, more connected community. Click the link to donate today and be part of something truly impactful. https://lnkd.in/eSzkhvQb Together, let’s ensure no seat is left empty and share the joy of live theater with those who need it most. 💛

Did you know that, on average, parents spent $750 to send one kid to summer camp? And just imagine how much that cost multiples for each child a family has. This expense can become a financial burden that impacts funds needed to prepare those same students for the academic school year. At SOME, we're aware of this burden, which is why we're raising money to support families living in our affordable housing. Are you willing to help? The school year starts next week for public schools in the district, why not give today: https://bit.ly/3Mg54hn

Income generation projects are vital for helping less fortunate families achieve financial independence and break the cycle of dependency on charity. By providing training, resources, and opportunities to families with no/low-income, we empower them to create their own livelihoods. With our initiatives we aim to provide initial support needed to the less fortunate to foster self-sufficiency, and giving the tools to thrive on their own, with dignity and resilience.

⚠️ In my experience mental health professionals can do more than pull people out of the river! They have a role in every part of this image 💪🏻 I see a version of this where politicians, organisations and businesses are consulting with therapists to mend that bridge, and make it strong 🏞️ Let’s move our efforts upstream! #upstream #prevention #earlyintervention
This is the quote I have had above my desk for several years now. It’s why we’ve been building our youth and community offer in addition to the high quality homes & support we provide at YMCA MILTON KEYNES. We now have six new youth clubs running in three locations across Milton Keynes thanks to funding from the The National Lottery Community Fund Million Hours Fund, with special thanks also to MK Community Foundation for supporting the strategic development of our youth and community work. If you’d like to know more about any of our youth and community services, please drop Tayler Tookey or myself a line. You can also find out more here: https://lnkd.in/eDd4rY5i Thanks to Juliet Young for the image. #youthandcommunity #ymca #miltonkeynes #youthclubs
