🧘🏻♀️A Month of Wellness: Prioritizing Mental Health at Work 🧠 World Mental Health Day was observed on the 10th of October this year, but at Blueleaf Energy we observed this important day across our offices for an entire month. At Blueleaf Energy, we take pride in supporting a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees, an environment that helps our people thrive. So as the World Health Organization (WHO) set the focus of World Mental Heal Day 2024 to “Mental Health at Work”, we challenged ourselves to explore how we could prioritize the mental and physical well-being of our employees across our offices. From October 10th to November 10th, we organized a series of initiatives to foster a positive and supportive work environment. 🇹🇼 Relaxing in Taiwan🧋 In Taiwan, we organized serene "Terrarium Little Forest" activities, inviting our local staff to take time during their workday to create personal terrariums for their desks. These green spaces brought a bit of garden relaxation into their workdays, and held relaxing happy hours. 🇸🇬 Wellness Market in Singapore🔴 Our Singapore office hosted a body and mind wellness market, offering general health and vision screenings, chiropractic care, and insightful talks on the role of sleep in not only physical, but mental health and how to improve the quality of your sleep to lift your life. 🇮🇳 Decompressing in India🐘 Team India held comprehensive workshops on managing stress and burnout and how to take care of your eye health when working with screens all day. 🇯🇵 Zen in Japan 🗾 In Japan our team organized rejuvenating team walks around the imperial palace that allowed our employees to enjoy the sunshine and take in the beautiful natural scenery before settling in for a picnic on the grass of the palace garden. By investing in our employees' mental health, we’re not only aiming to provide a healthy work environment but also contributing to a healthier and more sustainable future. Let’s work together to break down stigma, prioritize mental health, and create workplaces where everyone can feel safe, included, and thrive. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthAtWork #EmployeeWellbeing #CorporateWellness #BlueleafEnergy #RenewableEnergy #Sustainability

Did you know that there is a movement of workplace wellbeing that is happening in India? Workplace wellness isn’t just an American phenomenon, it’s a global one! From the a conference in India in 2019 (as seen in this photo) to keynoting in Romania just two weeks ago at the Wellington event (thank you, Alina Grozescu), I am thrilled to be part of this global movement. But whether we are in the US, India or Romania, the question still remains: Are our organizational efforts to promote wellbeing actually helping people to thrive? In most cases, there’s a yawning gap between what’s offered and what employees genuinely need. Employees aren’t wanting another wellness “to do.” Rather, they’re seeking meaningful engagement, greater flexibility, and enhanced inclusivity in their work lives. They want to feel valued and recognized. The era of the one-size-fits-all wellness program is over, as is the era of individual interventions that fail to address the larger culture. Today, companies must embrace a holistic, “outside-in” approach to wellbeing that involves candid assessments of company culture, organizational policies practices that foster wellbeing, leadership engagement on all levels and a focus on engaging teams. Thank you India ETHRWorld and Yasmin Taj for inviting me to write the Foreword for your most recent ETHR and FITPASS State of Fitness and Wellness Report. https://lnkd.in/gUURadmd FITPASS Akshay Verma, Aakanksha Gupta, Saba Shaikh, Ashish Mishra, Rajiv Naithani Sumit Taneja Dr. Rima Ghose Chowdhury, Roshni Wadhwa, Aarti Srivastava, Shweta Mohanty, Chandini Kamal, Smitha Subhas, Mai Tlau, Tarana Kaushik, Ankit Punani, Anushree Sharma, Puja Bothra, Apeksha Kaushik, Rinki Gulati and Sagarika Rai.
