Yesterday marked the conclusion of my internship with Nannette Nocon a private wealth advisor with Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from an industry professional with 40 years of experience. The support of Nannette and her team helped me flourish. Key Takeaways: 1. Prioritizing/Time Management: The early exposure to the difference between full-time work and school became evident. There can be more freedom within one work day, whereas school has a more rigid schedule. This internship taught me how to manage my time in a professional setting, and reprioritize as new tasks were presented. 2. Heart/Passion: Seeing first hand how passionate and positive Nannette was every day was so inspiring. It is true what they say about loving what you do and its impact on a person’s success. Seeing how love and energy Nannette puts into her meetings was amazing, pushing me to put my best foot forward. 3. Always ask questions: Nannette always said that the people with the questions tend to learn more than those with the answers. With that piece of advice, I felt empowered to ask for help or clarification throughout this experience. Asking questions enabled me to improve my communication skills. As I learned to concisely convey what I was struggling with, what needed to be accomplished and when. With this in mind, I was successfully able to collaborate with other team members to get tasks completed in a timely manner. I want to end by saying a huge thank you to Nocon & Associates. I will miss you all so much, but look forward to staying connected and seeing where my future goes!
Today we bid farewell to Mariel, Connor, Nina, and Catrina as their summer internships come to a close. Each of you have done outstanding work this summer! We wish you all the very best for the coming school year.

🌟 Excited to Share My Product Management Experience at IT Society! 🌟 During my 14-week internship at IT Society, I had the incredible opportunity to step into the role of Product Manager, where I: ✅ Led the product development lifecycle, working closely with stakeholders such as owners, software engineers, cybersecurity professionals, UI/UX designers, and QA specialists. ✅ Defined product requirements and prioritized features to align with user needs and business goals. ✅ Conducted market research and analyzed user feedback to shape a strategic product roadmap. ✅ Ensured seamless communication among stakeholders and delivered user-centric solutions on time and to high standards. This experience not only strengthened my leadership and collaboration skills but also reinforced my passion for building impactful, user-driven products.
