🚨 Attention Salesforce Professionals 🚨 I recently came across a job offer for a Senior Lead Salesforce Developer role, and I was quite surprised by the compensation offered. For a position that requires extensive experience in Salesforce architecture, implementation, and leadership, the proposed rate was 45 CAD per hour on a B2B contract. Given the complexity and high demand for Salesforce expertise, especially in roles that require managing complex implementations and leading teams, this rate seems significantly below industry standards. It’s concerning to see that third-party vendors are often acting as middlemen, offering subpar compensation while charging clients high rates. This not only undervalues the expertise of real professionals but also impacts the quality of work delivered to clients. As Salesforce professionals, we invest a lot of time and effort in honing our skills and obtaining certifications. It’s essential for companies to recognize the value and expertise we bring to the table. Offering competitive compensation is crucial for attracting and retaining top talent and ensuring high-quality project outcomes. Let’s strive for better industry standards and ensure that our skills and experience are valued appropriately. #Salesforce #SalesforceDeveloper #Compensation #IndustryStandards #Career #Recruitment #ProfessionalValue #QualityWork

Question for Salesforce Admins: I created a pick list field two days ago, and it has not been reflected in my org two days after. What could be the reason for the field not showing? For context, I have previewed this field on Page Layout, and it is visible to my profile. Name of field: Job Type; Data Type: Picklist; Is it visible from the FLS on the profile? Yes. Kindly share your opinions here. #Salesforceadmin #Salesforce #Salesforceappdevelopment #Salescloud

Don’t hire a Salesforce consultant. I’ve said it more than a few times here on LinkedIn. But that might have been a bit of an exaggeration. There are times when it’s absolutely the right thing to do. When you don’t need a full-time resource… But just need someone with more expertise than your current staff. To come in and help get up and running. Take a big project across the finish line. Make sure a migration goes smoothly. It’s one of the reasons we provide contractors in addition to full-time hires. Sometimes an expert for 10-20 hours a week is exactly what a company needs.
