Most OEMs need to grow EV sales and the biggest market segment is shown here: 2/3 of the EVs that will be sold in Europe and USA from 2025 to 2030 need to be priced below $50k. This represents 124 million EVs for a total amount of revenues of $4.35 trillion. This segment will be penetrated by OEMs that can offer affordable EVs with a reasonable range (300 miles) and fast enough charging (< 20 min for 20% to 80%), manufactured profitably. That requires higher energy density batteries that cost less to manufacture than those manufactured in the USA and Europe today. During 2024, the weighted average retail price of EV sold in Europe and USA was around $69k. The expensive segment is crowded with EV models. The weighted average retail price of the EVs in the affordable segment (green shaded area) is about $35k. The affordable segment is under-served today, because EV batteries are either too expensive or do not have enough range. OneD Battery Sciences invented, patented, perfected the SINANODE technologies to make it possible to manufacture smaller batteries with longer range, faster charging AND lower cost. How? By adding nano-silicon inside the pores of EV-grade graphite anode materials from suppliers already qualified with EV cell factories. The global production of these graphite materials is already hundreds of thousands of tons per year. EV cells with SINANODE processed anodes have been built and tested by OneD and by its customers. The cells store significantly more energy and reduce the battery cost, as verified by customers. The data is clear and the SINANODE innovations are protected by more than 200 granted patents. #evbatteries
