"But Omar, it will take me more hours to automate it than doing it manually" Well, lemme tell you something interesting: ⤵️ Even if your automation takes 100 hours, the long-term payoff is worth it, the ROI grows as task complexity increases. You can ask yourself: “How many times are we doing this task in a year, and how long does it take us?” Do the math, and automation will become a no-brainer. Even if you’re saving just 30 minutes a month, that’s a foundation to build on. I always make an ROI dashboard section in the automation solutions I build for my clients, this way, they can see exactly the hours and money saved with each operation. 📌 Wanna automate your infrastructure? Here's the hard truth: Even if you think your business is optimized and you are not doing anything repeatable or useless, you are. And you don't need something revolutionary to fix this. You just need to take a closer look at what you're already doing and figure out what you can eliminate, delegate, or automate. I've seen this over and over with clients. They don't know what they don't know. Here's how to solve this: 1. Write down everything you do on a weekly basis. Use a task timer if you can. 2. Map out the processes with a visual flowchart. 3. You will see some inefficiencies. Eliminate and delegate what you can. 4. Check all API docs of your tools to understand what can be automated. 5. Deploy the automations. It's really that simple. Once you start doing this, you'll realize how many tasks you're doing manually that could easily be automated. I promise you, the time you spend doing this will be some of the most valuable time you ever spend on your business.

Process Mapping: Don’t Click Away, Hear Me Out! Imagine setting off on a long journey without a map/satnav. You might eventually get to your destination, but the chances of taking a few wrong turns are pretty high. Process mapping essentially creates a map of how things get done in your business (to avoid the wrong turns). This isn't about fancy charts or complex software; it's about clarity. Grab a pen and paper and sketch out the steps from when an order/enquiry comes into when it’s delivered/client is served. You’ll be surprised at the duplications and inefficiencies you might uncover. 👩💼 Action: Start simple. Choose one process that’s critical to your business and map it out (lead to conversion or conversion to product/service delivery). Identify steps that are unnecessary or overly complicated and automate or eliminate them. Read the full article here ⤵ https://lnkd.in/eAPpV5kT
