Spent my morning talking to Boston College students and critiquing their Urban Planning case stady facilitated by Urban Land Institute along with financial Advisors, city officials, and developers. "The competition is open to students enrolled in an accredited post-secondary educational institution in Canada, who are studying planning, architecture, environmental design, urban design or landscape architecture. At WWA, we have a 4th option... > What about we have planning committees comprising a selection of professionals from around the UK? This would negate the need for training councillors to save money and have impactful decisions based on policy and planning balance in the local and national interest rather than spurious grounds. It could be as simple as expanding the PINS remit...
