Last month, SWOV researchers Agnieszka Stelling (conference chair), Wouter Van den Berghe, Letty Aarts, and Sander van der Kint participated in the Trendline General Assembly. The Trendline project is an EU-supported project and aims to develop and implement standardized methodologies for data collection and analysis for key performance indicators (KPIs) in road safety.   Hosted by CDV - Transport Research Centre in Prague on February 22 and 23, the General Assembly brought together over 50 participants from the Trendline project. Throughout the two days, attendees engaged in more than 20 presentations and discussions. Topics spanned from the current status of data collection on road safety KPIs across different countries, to progress on new experimental indicators under consideration, and the integration of road safety KPIs into national strategies and action plans. Looking forward, the assembly inspired confidence and anticipation for the next steps to be undertaken.
