Are you struggling with your Net Zero strategy? This report from Gascoyne Estates feels like a great way to approach it, an honest look at where they are now, where the struggles and challenges are, their goals for where they want to be and an openness to collaborate to get there. As we develop our carbon sequestration plan at Fleecegrow , we are looking for organisations like this who are looking for solutions and collaboration.
Today we launch our Net Zero Strategy, Gascoyne's foundation upon which we are building our long-term approach to sustainable business. In making this statement publicly, we are committing to rewiring the whole of Gascoyne's business - from farming through to strategic land development. We face challenges due to the nature of our historic property portfolio, and our involvement in carbon-intensive sectors. But we also have enormous opportunities to embrace innovation, increase carbon sequestration, and make a wider contribution to the green transition. #netzero #sustainability #sustainablebusiness #innovation

We are thrilled and honored to be mentioned by 1000 Ocean Startups as part of their featuring SeaAhead's latest whitepaper "Innovations to Support Biodiversity in Offshore Wind", published in collaboration with Ørsted and Venterra Group and specifically targeted at offshore wind investors as well as stakeholders. Among 2000+ ocean-based startups, PlanBlue was identified as one of 150 key organisations whose work and efforts support the globally expanding offshore wind sector in not only transitioning to a low-carbon, clean energy future, but to additionally having a net-positive impact on marine biodiversity. How? In our case, by providing cutting-edge technology in the form of a highly flexible seafloor mapping system that combines underwater hyperspectral and RGB imaging, navigation sensors and an AI-driven data processing pipeline. Our maps look beyond the visible seafloor: By giving baseline and long-term insights into e.g., habitat communities, biomass, carbon stock or ecosystem health, our technology and data products enable informed decision-making processes during all four stages of wind farm development: Planning Design and Permitting, Installation, Operations and Maintenance, End of Life. #1000OceanStartups #OffshoreWind #Biodiversity #climatechange #naturebasedsolutions

The play on words is clearly intended when Tobias Brink and our Swedish industry colleagues at Envigas AB say they are "paving the way" towards a sustainable future💚 Great to see new partnerships shaping up where pyrolysis based products are increasing in demand and enabling the decarbonization of key industries like asphalt. At Vow Green Metals we are working on similar projects alongside key industrial partners in Norway to make use of the bio-oil produced from our production facilities 😎 #pyrolysis #biocarbon #greenindustry #biooil
This week, the Circular Road Infrastructure Project had a fantastic kickoff, kindly hosted by PEAB—thank you for the warm welcome and excellent hospitality! Our mission with this project is clear: to replace fossil carbon in road construction with green alternatives, focusing on lignin and pyrolysis oil from Swedish biomass as key innovations. The highlight? Witnessing the impressive results of blending pyrolysis oil, produced by Envigas, into asphalt samples—a great example of the potential for greener and more sustainable roads. The Circular Road Infrastructure Project is led by RISE and Viveca Wallqvist, with strong collaboration from other partners, including Trafikverket, Svensk Däckåtervinning, Lixea, and Renfuel. Together, we are paving the way (literally!) towards a more sustainable future for our infrastructure. #Sustainability #CircularEconomy #GreenInnovation #PyrolysisOil #Greenasphalt #Envigas #Lignin #Infrastructure #Asphalt #RISE #Trafikverket
