The other day, I had the opportunity to attend the GenAI Observatory event hosted by AWS and featuring speakers from NVIDIA, Observea, Cartesia/ai, and Modular. It was an enriching experience to witness the latest advancements in Generative AI. 📍Observea introduced their distributed training and inference platform powered by SageMaker HyperPod. 📍Cartesia demonstrated their state-of-the-art text-to-speech model, Sonic, and discussed the future of AI beyond transformers. 📍AWS provided a deep dive on Amazon Bedrock, and NVIDIA highlighted maximizing AI performance using tools on AWS including NeMo and NIMS. 📍Modular showcased the next generation of AI model development. It was also a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow AI enthusiasts and professionals. The networking sessions were vibrant with discussions on the latest tools and technologies shaping the future of AI.
