This past weekend, I had the privilege of attending DevFest, a premier gathering of developers, innovators, and tech enthusiasts. The event was a melting pot of talent, featuring hands-on workshops, insightful talks, and networking opportunities with some of the brightest minds in the tech industry. Some key takeaways for me: 1️⃣ Staying Ahead of Trends: From AI to web development, the sessions were packed with insights on emerging technologies and best practices. 2️⃣ Building a Growth Mindset: Whether you're an aspiring developer or a seasoned professional, the tech landscape constantly evolves. DevFest reinforced the importance of continuous learning. 3️⃣ Networking Is Key: Connecting with like-minded professionals and mentors was one of the highlights. The stories shared during coffee breaks were just as valuable as the sessions themselves! This event wasn't just about learning; it was about becoming part of a global community driven by innovation and collaboration. To anyone looking to break into tech or elevate their skills, I can’t recommend attending events like this enough. Thank you to the organizers, speakers, and fellow attendees for making DevFest such a memorable experience. Here’s to applying what I’ve learned and continuing to grow in this ever-changing field! Also here's want to see a random picture of me, definitely not pondering why pd.cut is a redundant function (for me)😅

Beyond the Hype: Unleashing Creativity at Sandbox 2.0 Forget the buzzwords, hackathons are where young minds truly flex their creative muscle. Sandbox 2.0 at Chitkara Design School was a masterclass in this. Students weren't just coding – they were crafting solutions for the hearing impaired, tackling Alzheimer's, and even addressing issues like work burnout and farm stubble burning. The problem statements were refreshingly diverse, and the fusion of tech and design produced nothing short of magic. The 2-day whirlwind was a potent mix of passion, hustle, and insightful conversations. Each participation is a learning experience for me, pushing my design thinking and offering valuable perspectives. Attending these design challenges isn't just about winning, it's about using design as a powerful tool for positive change. Thank you Rabinder Singh Johar, Gopal Meena, lee za, Yashasvi S., Shivani Saini for having me and making me richer with such amazing Experiences. Kudos to the students who made this event alive and to all the mentors and the storytellers. Poornima Vaidyanathan, Nachiketa Charkhwal नचिकेता चरखवाल 🇮🇳, Puneet Sakhuja, Lalit Shahane, Swaroop Biswas, Debasish Panda, Venkatesh Mangena, Siddhartha Sen Choudhary (Sid), Prasoon Srivastava and Deepika Dutta Kapoor (she/her).
And it's a wrap! Sandbox 2.0 was everything we expected, and more. Brilliant presentations, mind-blowing solutions, and exuberant celebration all wrapped into one, we never knew hackathons could be this fun! Enjoy these highlights, which if we're being honest, do no justice to the event that was. And before you know it, we will be back again with another Sandbox, just bigger and better. Last, but not the least, our warmest regards to the wonderful mentors who made this event possible- we couldn't have done it without you guys! Exciting update on our recent @glitch_builders onboarding camp! 🚀 I'm thrilled to share that our event exceeded all expectations. We saw double the anticipated turnout and achieved our lowest no-show rate yet. (And no, I didn't have to threaten anyone with a knife to make that happen! 😉) What truly made this event special was: - The return of last year's participants - Bringing together talented engineers and planners from the crypto scene - Witnessing active networking and idea-sharing This hackathon reminds me of the 19th century Parisian cafés that became creative hubs for writers. Today, hackathons are becoming the tech world's playground and land of opportunity. I'm proud that Glitch Hackathon is part of this movement. We put tremendous effort into every detail, from team building to our 'Glitch Translator' guide, aiming to create an environment as Inviting as a cozy café terrace. What started as a way to help friends has now become a significant part of my professional portfolio. I believe GLITCH's strengths lie in: 1. Striking a balance between Web3 insiders and newcomers 2. Acting as interpreters between protocols and builders 3. Bringing energy to the stage with passionate MC-ing (finally putting those high school drama skills to use!) The true essence of a hackathon isn't just about information exchange—it's about creating shared experiences. Like those Parisian cafés where great works were born from spontaneous discussions, we're fostering an environment where innovation can thrive. Of course, there's always room for improvement. We're working on balancing spontaneity with structure, attracting an even more diverse participant base, and developing a sustainable model for continuous building. Looking ahead, we have our main event coming up in a month. My hope is that these experiences will accumulate, and one day, hackathons might be recorded in history books as the new 'Tech Montmartre'! I'm grateful to everyone who's been part of this journey. Here's to creating better hackathons and contributing to the growth of the Web3 ecosystem. Who's joining us for the next one? Let's innovate together! #GlitchHackathon #Web3Innovation #TechCommunity #Entrepreneurship

Why do we run hackathons? Usually, hackathons are mind marathons where experts get together to solve complex problems in a time crunch. For us, company hackathons are our way to bring everybody in the same room, review progress against our strategic priorities and advance on different problems we are currently tackling, share successes and setbacks, and get inspired by different points of view. 🤖 So what do you need for successful hackathons? 💅 Memes! When you have a lot of information to share, and it’s as complex as it can get, humor is a necessity. 💎Transparency and a safe psychological environment: we call this trustparency. To speak openly and share successes and failures, you need to feel safe and know how to ask for help. 🏃♀️Accepting imperfections: we cannot always operate in perfect conditions, but we always strive to understand each other and turn obstacles into advantages. For us, company hackathons are a great way to live the values we all chose as the foundation of #algorithmiq, without ever forgetting that we have all committed to making working with us fun! 🛸
