🌞 Exciting News from the Electronics Sustainability Summit! 🌞 We had a fantastic session with DAO Members, partners, and new friends at the eSummit in Austin, where we showcased OBADA’s technology through a real-world use case demo. In partnership with an OBADA Member based in Middlebury, Vermont, and their Ghanaian partner, we’re leveraging blockchain traceability to securely track solar panels shipped for reuse—providing transparent verification that these panels reach their intended destination and purpose. At the session, we demonstrated how OBADA and Tradeloop's system aligns with the proposed ISO 20435 standard. The discussions were incredibly insightful, and it was rewarding to connect with so many new faces who gained a clear understanding of OBADA’s role in establishing a trusted chain of custody and a standardized data-sharing framework for the ITAD industry. 📹 Curious to see it in action? What is often lost in all of this, is that cryptos rely on blockchain technology, which itself presents tremendous value and benefits.
