#DenysCivilWorks • Hard work makes for big progress at the Verapaz Project in Ghent for Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer. Last week, our team made us proud again. Wednesday saw the first major concrete pour of the 1st bridge at Verapaz. 21 hours long, from sunrise to way past sun set, 1100 m3 concrete was poured! We worked with two 65m pumps (thanks Yvaga NV!), in two shifts, with a total of 50 people. Friday was another long day, as part 2 of our concrete pouring marathon took place. Next big event is laying the bridge on its final bearings. Another considerable challenge: the bridge -totaling 1,500 m³ of concrete and 250 tons of reinforcement steel- will be lowered 2 m in one piece by jacking in 10-cm increments. But today we want to reflect on the hard work and positive teamwork of the past week. Obviously, team Denys does it once again 💪 😀. But we are also grateful to have such a constructive collaboration with the great team from Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer. And what about Heidelberg Materials and Yvaga NV, who supplied us with in total 1500m3 concrete over 3 days time for this concrete pour. No small feat! 👍 up also to Carro-Bel Group. #teamdenys #teamupwithdenys #braveboldbright #dodreamers #jointhedodreamers #AWV #WegenEnVerkeer #HeidelbergMaterials
Impressive works!
Congrats!
