What does it mean to support change makers? How do we ensure that emerging fields in areas like image-based sexual violence have the community resources, safe space and visibility needed not just exist but make lasting systems-changing impact? This year's Panorama Global report, "Delivering Solutions for Impact," showcases the work of not just Panorama itself but our ever growing and diverse network of partners. As the Director of The Reclaim Coalition, I have witnessed what it means to bring dynamic leaders across the globe together to advocate for solutions - in fact often life-saving solutions - to support survivors and put an end to such horrible and vastly growing forms of gender-based violence like synthetic intimate images (deepfake abuse), and intimate image sharing. In this past year, collectively The Reclaim Coalition has informed key aspects of the White House Executive Order on AI, advocated for increased services and support for survivors, advanced campaigns for technology accountability and solutions to image removal and so much more. At our core, we are survivor-centered. Case Study: "Adriane Moen (Adriane M), a U.S.-based survivor of image-based sexual violence and sex trafficking, joined The Reclaim Coalition at our inaugural lived experience expert convening in 2022 as one of 20 experts. In Spring 2023, six of The Reclaim Coalition's partners with lived experience, including Adriane, gave remarks to the White House Task Force to Address Online Harassment and Abuse and advocated for a national helpline for survivors of image-based sexual violence. This advocacy directly informed the funding for a first-of-its-kind helpline in the United States, supported by the Department of Justice Office of Victims of Crime." So read on and learn more! Michigan Ecosystem Partners - PLEASE SHARE: The MEDC is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or entities to support the Small Business Support Hubs Program (SBSH), an American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funded initiative of the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF). The selected third-party contractor will provide program evaluation and data analysis for the SBSH program, a $73 million investment into 27 entrepreneurial support organizations located across the state that provide technical assistance, programs and services, resource navigation and direct grants to small businesses disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. The Program Evaluation & Data Analysis Reports will summarize and analyze program data and outcomes, identify regional ecosystem assets, highlight impacts to Hubs, identify small business outcomes, address model effectiveness, develop small business beneficiary profiles, needs, and journey, and identify program interventions and improvements. \ Proposals are due no later than 9am on Monday, July 8, 2024.
