My Christmas present right here…. Every year my husband asks me what I want for Christmas He would start with wanting to buy me a card then a present Every year I well tell him “I don’t want one, YOU are my Birthday / Christmas present”. Here’s why…. 1. When I met my husband, he rented a flat for me after I was made homeless in London. 2. Shortly after meeting him, he paid for my flight to Trinidad when my father was dying. 3. We have been working together for 20 years married for 19 years. 4. He’s the CFO for all our businesses and makes sure that our accounting is done right. 5. In our Nuttall Property Investments business he makes sure tenants are looked after, contracts are done & builders are booked in and paid. 6. With our Event of Champions® & Exalted London events business he is super efficient on logistics working with the hotels and taking care of our guest speakers. 7. With our Camilita Nuttall Coaching business he helps clients with taxation, banking, accounting and property purchase and property consultations. 8. On a more personal note, he massages my feet when I’m tired and brings me hot chocolate when I need it. Don’t get me wrong… we have some very loud discussions. You know who wins that argument 🤣 I’m always right and it must be done like this or it’s NOT right! Can I get a witness right here😁 However… everything that we have, we have worked together on buying it, building it or creating it. So instead of presents for Christmas, I say to him “you are my Christmas present”. 🎁 If I do want a present, it’s usually something that we buy together we both can use, like another sports car or luxury holiday. The world is full of things or toys we must have. As for me I’m not driven by “things”. Yes, I like nice things but they don’t control me. In the end we will leave it all here on this planet anyway so be mindful this holiday season of giving people time not just things.
