Why is it that so many legacy DMs have such bad response devices which do not match the objectives of the DM? But may be we have lost focus on DM objective setting which might explain why response levels are so dire. And how many charities do clever segmentation with different objectives for each donor segment? So easy, for charities with smaller databases. Blanket mailings with legacy leaflets are not working and god help those persevering with general public legacy acquisition DMs during the cost of living crisis.
