Pricing Tip You'll do well to end prices with an odd number. They seem like a better deal than even ones. In our minds, numbers that end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9 appear smaller than ones that end in even numbers or 0. Apple believes in this principle so much that they'd rather lose $1 off every gadget just to have a "9" at the end. Lesson: end prices with an odd number to appear smaller (without looking cheap)

📈 Apple's Growth Story 🍏💼 (Read the charts in detail @https://bit.ly/3wxGHqH) 🚀 Apple has skyrocketed by 110% over the past decade from 2014 to 2023! Two major sales spikes occurred in 2015 and 2021, coinciding with the launches of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 13, respectively. 📱 🌍 Despite this growth, the geographical mix of sales has remained consistent, with the USA, China, and Japan comprising nearly two-thirds of Apple's sales. 🌏📊 📊 The product mix reveals the dominance of the iPhone, contributing 52% of sales, while services have seen a remarkable 5X increase, now accounting for 22% of revenues. 💻📱💰 💰 Gross margins have surged due to higher services revenues, with services margins doubling that of products. 📈💼 📉 China sales have seen a decline, but Apple remains the largest mobile smartphone seller, displacing Samsung in 2023. 🇨🇳📉 💰 Net income has soared by 145%, reflecting Apple's strong financial health, with consistent dividends and stock buybacks. 💰📈 🔍 R&D expenses have surged, possibly hinting at future product launches, while interest expenses have risen due to high debt and interest rates. 💡💼 💼 Apple's working capital management showcases its brand power and supplier relationships, though vulnerabilities remain, such as reliance on the iPhone and geographical concentration risk. 🔄💼 🔮 Looking ahead to FY 2024, watch for iPhone volume and service revenue trends, alongside Apple's ability to navigate debt and interest rate challenges. 📈💼 Join The Chai & Charts Chronicles for more insights into Apple's fascinating journey! ☕💼 #Apple #BusinessGrowth #TechTrends

Posted From Mid Atlantic Consulting Blog - Apple slashes trade-in values across the board, reducing what you’ll get With the help of Apple's Trade-in program, anyone seeking to upgrade to newer hardware can generally find some value in their older devices by trading them in to the company for credit toward their new purchase. This can reduce the bottom line for lots of consumers, making upgrades more approachable. On the other hand, Apple does periodically modify the trade-in values that the company is willing to pay for used equipment. While those fluctuations are generally downward trending, Apple does some .... (Click link to read entire article) https://buff.ly/4fcyVoj

🚨 Apple's Exploitation Must Stop! 🚨 ₹60,000—That’s what Apple is charging to replace a battery in an iPhone 13 Pro Max just because the back glass (damaged due to a quality issue) is cracked. For context: A new iPhone from old stock costs just ₹40,000. The battery alone costs ₹5,800. This is not just a repair; it’s blatant extortion. Why force customers to pay for back glass replacement when the issue is unrelated? Why impose unreasonable costs on loyal customers who trusted the brand? Apple’s approach is clear: profit over fairness, greed over customer loyalty, and exploitation over accountability. This is a wake-up call! As consumers, we must hold companies accountable for practices that exploit us. Apple Inc., it’s time to listen. Stop squeezing your customers and start addressing issues with transparency and fairness. Everyone reading this: Would you continue buying Apple products knowing you could face such predatory policies? Let’s unite and demand justice. It’s time for Apple to change—or for us to choose better. #Apple #ConsumerRights #StopExploitation #Accountability #JusticeForCustomers #FairPricing

Here is the productivity hack of 2024. And it is under $20. Wired Apple EarPods for USB-C. Yes. Wired. "John, AirPods are superior and wireless." ↳ Nope. Why? → AirPods that I have cost $200+. → I constantly lose one of them. → I constantly have to charge them. Friction. Friction. Friction. These wired Apple versions are $19. I could buy 10 of these for the price of my AirPods and leave them all over the house, car, drawers etc. And the sound? Perfect for what I need. 🚫 I do not need noise cancelling. I have kids - I have to listen for them. 🚫 I do not need Spatial Audio. It is weird to me. 🚫 I do not need it to be wireless. I am always near my devices. What is the point of this post? ↳ Remove friction from your life. ↳ Remove friction from your business. ↳ Remove friction from your Amazon listings. Make things easier. I wish products also came with a "Here's why we made these design decisions," document. It will help us understand more. Actually, not just product decisions, most decisions that have a significant influence on our lives, how we live and work. E.g. company culture, business models etc. What influenced our direction? What did we know at the time? What were the constraints we were limited by? Which potential opportunities did we test, which potential opportunities did we decide not to pursue at the time? Which insights from research influenced our choices? Ultimately why we prioritised the things we did. It will help with transparency and could also help us consider other options before pressing Go. Btw, you can charge a Logitech mouse while continuing to use it because the charge port isn't underneath the mouse.
I don't know who needs to hear this but Apple is valued at $3.21 trillion USD as of today and this is how they designed their mouse charger. You're doing fine.

Classic example from 🔥 Kara Redman on how the brand image and valuation doesn’t mean a thing unless the work product is user friendly. Now think about how we often look at our deliverables through our lens and not the customers… It’s ok to say “sorry I can’t meet your expectations upfront” but not understanding the customer’s perspective isn’t going to be acceptable… Understand, Align, Commit & Deliver… #customerexperience #deliveryexcellence
