When I joined Grace & Green in 2022 as Head of Growth, my very first presentation to the Board was about how we took what had been created in Period Dignity and use this to have a much wider impact on both the business and the world of work. How would we make Period Dignity the market leader (with very little money to spend to do so)? I don't have enough space in this post to work through exactly what I set out in that meeting, however it boiled down to: ✌ Understanding the impact we want to have: It's always been about more than supplying products - Education is woven into the threads of Period Dignity. To achieve period dignity we need access to information, availability of products and acceptance within workplace culture - we designed our offering and continue to develop everything we do around these pillars. This was summed up perfectly by a client (John) who said "Grace & Green don't just supply a product, they create a CULTURE". Exactly John. ✌ Remember who we are and why we are doing it: Unsurprisingly, the workplace space has and is becoming more competitive. This is excellent news, as more businesses embrace free period care as a basic right, and especially comforting how many are choosing a more sustainable providers. As now Chief Commercial Officer, it's also mildly stressful (mildly 🙃 ). However, dignity continues to be about more than avoiding getting caught short, it's about embracing inclusivity and supporting our Members to deliver dignity for all, no matter of age, gender identity, or how they experience their period. There's still a long way to go, and we've got SO much more coming here... ✌ Treat every customer like they are absolutely making our day. This is perhaps a small business mindset, or when many of the team have done almost every job in the company. We all remember the THRILL of winning our first big contract, the DELIGHT of walking into a shop and seeing our products on shelf, or randomly walking into the bathroom BEAMING seeing our products. We don't take for granted the fact we get to be in people's everyday. (For me this has never worn off, my heart still skips a little when I process an order, receive a tender award notice, or see a customer talking about us on socials.) Particularly grateful for our team for supporting our phenomenal YOY 120% growth, for challenging, pushing our vision and positioning, and for being excellent. I'm incredibly proud of what we and our members are doing to drive inclusivity, awareness and dignity within their workplaces and educational establishments. I can't wait to see what the next two years can hold. Happy Birthday Period Dignity. x
Two years of Period Dignity 🎉 It's #WorldMenstrualHygieneDay and we're celebrating two years of making periods dignified and accessible for everyone. Since launching, our Period Dignity scheme has helped over 400 businesses, schools and public institutions provide sustainable period products to those who need them most. Together we've: ❋ Supplied 9 million free-to-access sustainable period products ❋ Delivered 9,800+ free period packs to those who need them in partnership with local councils ❋ Stocked 60+ universities and schools with Grace & Green products ❋ Donated £97,000 worth of period products to charitable organisations, including local food banks, in 2023 alone. Thank you to our community and incredible partners and supporters for making helping us make a difference. Check out our visits to New Cut Coffee, BIMM University, OVO, Watershed, and Wiper and True. Thank you Honeywell Bakes for our beautiful birthday biscuits.

I have to share this post for two reasons. One is that I am a proud trustee for Humanimal Trust and really believe in One Medicine for humans and animals (watch the video - Noel explains it better). The second is that I know how many will appreciate how ridiculously cute Noel’s cat, Richochet, is! #onemedicine #humanimaltrust
Happy 10th Birthday Humanimal Trust!! Today, 6th May, we are celebrating our 10th birthday, the day our charity was founded by Professor Noel Fitzpatrick back in 2014. This day is now known as One Medicine Day. We want to thank each and every one of you for your support and dedication for the charity. You are all amazing! Without you we simply would not be here. Thank you from everyone here at Humanimal Trust.

In today’s ever changing environment mental health and well being is so so important
Hi all, Last year I lost a close friend of mine from university. This weekend, I -along with 37 members of his friends and family- are participating in the Three Peaks Challenge, where we aim to climb the 3 three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales in under 24 hours (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon). We are raising money for the charity Papyrus, which aims to prevent young suicide. Suicide is tragically the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, with every year over 1800 young people taking their own lives. I have attached the link to Finn's sister, Kezia's Just Giving page. If you are looking to donate to a a good cause this week maybe this can be one that is worthy. I have also attached the link to the interview Finn's dad, Gordon, gave to the BBC earlier this week about Finn and the challenge: https://lnkd.in/enqJWSc7 Thank you for any donations! https://lnkd.in/e55mNcsi

HOW DARUL INFAQ STARTED? SERVICE TO HUMANITY IS SERVICE TO GOD It started as a very humble desire and personal effort to serve humanity. This idea or desire is to provide groceries to households with very limited or no financial resources. Through the generosity of a growing network of donors and volunteers, the initial effort expanded to provide groceries on a recurring basis from a few to hundreds of families. With the increase in donations and the growth of the recipients of monthly groceries, it became imperative that a non-profit organization to be formed. Hence, Darul Infaq Foundation USA was formed and registered with the Secretary of State, Illinois and with IRS in October 5, 2021 as a non-profit - Tax Exempt organization. Darul Infaq has also expanded to offering assistance with school fees to households with very limited or no financial resources, assistance with emergency medical expenses to those in need and distributing cooked food to the homeless.

Now we do have to say it. The next item on our helping list is donations. ☕Yes, not just donations, but regular donations. However small the amount. The amount for a good meal at your favourite restaurant, an outing to the cinema with the family, a good coffee with cake. So our number six is: 6) Donate a coffee ☕Regular donations are much more than just money coming into our account. They give our organization a stable financial fundament. They allow us to plan. To promise our partners we will still be there next month. So they also can count on us, like we can count on you. The fundraising platforms we work with, allow you to set up a regular donation. ☕And now I see you thinking... ok, maybe a good idea, I will discuss it with … No. Don’t wait. Don’t postpone. Just do it. One coffee a month: ☕

How to Make a Customized Charitable Locations list Did you want to donate something but don't have the time or energy to find a place? You are not alone! Many people don't give because they don't have the time or the energy to find the right place to donate a particular item. To inspire you to get rid of that unused stuff, I wanted to share how to make your very own Charitable Locations List. A charitable location list helps remind you of where you may have donated items in the past. This is also great for retirees who forget which #donation places are near them. It also helps parents who do not have the time to spend looking for charities every time they need something donated. This list will be specifically for you. But, to create it, you will need to do a few things first. How to create a customized charitable list? First, gather all the information below. Answer these Visit the blog for more details. #sabrinasorganizing https://lnkd.in/egqpSKG #todonatelist #createmyowndonatelist

As a follow up to my book, on saturday september 7th . i will be holding a webinar Titled ' From Goals to Success'. This will be fundraising webinar for two of the charities i work with. Feel free to donate any amount to any of these charities and just send me a thumbs up on my DM, i will forward the meeting invite.I am no way connected to these charities, i just support them on and off basis. These 2 organizations i know for a fact support a lot of orphans/homeless, feed them and give them education. So any help will go a long way to help them render their service. Sivananda Trust: https://lnkd.in/g3--fkfV Prasanna Trust: https://lnkd.in/gnf8NEXm What will be the webinar about? We will talk about the equation that is necessary from going from goals to Success. Why do we need to have a goal? What are those attitudes which is needed to pursue our goals? What are the things which make us withdraw midway? Most important: Questions and Answers. I will try to take a few questions if possible and give my perspective if anyone has career related questions. Activate to view larger image,

Let us know what you think! Select '...more' for the answer 👇 The answer is 'C' meaning that a whopping £3.9bn is donated through gifts in Wills every year! We know that now is the time to invest in legacy fundraising - with the largest transfer of wealth happening for a generation over the next 20-30 years. We also know that 20% of estates are now charitable with more and more new charities being included every year, meaning a whopping £3.9bn is donated through gifts in Wills yearly*. That means every charity has to work harder and smarter, to ensure they’re not forgotten about. If your charity needs some immediate support with your legacy programme, or you would like to have a chat with Jordan Miller-Hughes MCIOF (Cert) to see how you could do things differently, please reach out to him - jordan@leadsnavigator.co.uk *Reported by Smee&Fords Legacy Giving Trends Report 2024 #legacy #charity #fundraising #gifts #wills #quiz
