Preps and more preps … that’s been our Mantra !! That also means doing multiple reconnaissance of different properties where our OBTs and offsites can be conducted. A different way to celebrate XMas when Santa has got us clients in the form of gifts. Trust me .. FUNN learnings entail some really serious hardwork but it is worth it !! #folksschool #cftp #facilitraining #seriouslearningthefunway

I had a great time facilitating a workshop entitled, "Practical Metacognitive Strategies for the College Classroom" at the 2024 Teaching, Learning, & Technology Conference (TLTCon 24). Many thanks to attendees for the great thoughts you shared throughout the session! 😊 #TLTCon24 #Metacognition #HigherEd #FacDev #EdDev
#TLT One of the best virtual conference I've attended. Thank you College of Charleston for a great event! Tolulope (Tolu) N. led an impactful session - I can't wait to share what I've learned from her and the other presenters these past two days and start implementing new strategies to enhance my instruction.

The Practice Law especially for a Solo Attorney is similar to being a professional golfer. It tends to be an individual sport vs baseball, football, or soccer where success relays on the team. It’s why pro golfers love events like the Ryder Cup or the Olympics as it gives them a rare opportunity to be a part of a team. It’s a chance to be together and work as a team for a common goal. For Lawyers, your local Bar association, practice specific org, state Trial Lawyers org (like the Northern Kentucky Bar Association & Lawyer Referral Service or the Cincinnati Bar Association, Ohio Association for Justice or Kentucky Justice Association) is the team that fosters camaraderie, sharing of ideas, techniques, best practices or just support for what can be a challenging career. It’s your Tribe you can count on to not just be in your circle but to be in your corner. Thomson Reuters believes the Law is Local, which is why they support local and State Legal organizations financially as well as with People. FindLaw, part of Thomson Reuters has local legal professionals across the country that meet with clients face to face, and participate in Local legal events sharing their knowledge freely with all members whether your a client or not because it makes a difference. We are involved and live in your community. I appreciate the efforts that legal professionals like Julie Jones or Brad Ingraham make to insure the legal profession and its members thrive in their mission to serve the legal needs of their clients. Thank you Julie for inviting me to share some insights of what lawyers need to do to make sure clients can find and connect with the right lawyer for them. If you are a member of a local bar association, be involved and share with others. If you’re not, join one today and watch the enjoyment and your practice grow. #workingattr
