This is an excellent tutorial for getting started with the paper research agent tool. It demonstrates how to summarize multiple papers and compare the technical details among these research works, such as evaluation methods and datasets. Paper research is an ideal scenario for adopting Agentic Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). https://lnkd.in/gF5eKuvE

The Arches team is grateful to Historic England for providing sample data from GLHER Online for use in the Arches for HERs demo site. Note: the previous Arches demo site built on v6 will no longer be accessible starting December 16. NAI can be called an attitude or a mindset – don’t cause an adverse impact on others. It is important to convey this message to the general public, property owners, decision makers, design professionals and developers. Your message should be: “know your community’s hazards, know how to protect yourself, and understand how your actions could impact others”. Minister Pippa Hackett launches two reports from Timber in Construction Steering Group on Global Timber Policies, and Timber in Education. The first report identifies and summarises key policies, strategies and regulatory frameworks used in other countries around the world influencing the greater adoption of timber in construction. The report also provides recommendations on the best practice in raising awareness of the benefits of using timber and the importance of long-term carbon storage in the context of climate change. The second report evaluates the current approach in Ireland to teaching engineers and architects in third level institutions on the use of timber in construction. Recommendations are provided on the academic supports needed for timber in construction and the growing need to include much more timber content in the core syllabus of third level courses. 🌳 https://lnkd.in/ejVvGX8J

We are pleased to share with you our new paper entitled "River co-learning arenas: principles and practices for transdisciplinary knowledge co-creation and multi-scalar (inter)action". In this paper we present some key themes that we see as crucial for engaging with and enacting River Co-learning Arenas (RCAs): (1) river knowledge encounters and truth regimes, (2) transgressive co-learning, (3) confrontation and collaboration dynamics, (4) ongoing reflexivity, (5) transcultural knowledge assemblages and translocal bridging of rooted knowledge. RCAs are seen as multi-actor and multi-level dialogue arenas for developing proposals for river regeneration and promoting social-ecological justice in opposition to dominant technocratic-hydraulic development strategies. We hope you enjoy the reading! /https://lnkd.in/dynHCweg
