It's Friday again, and you know what that means! That's right, it's time for another Film Fact Friday post! Are you wondering why the photo is a bad example of a well-secured load? At first glance, it looks to be well-wrapped. It has good on pallet stretch, the measured containment was sufficient for the weight of the load, and there are even extra bottom wraps to make sure the load is properly secured. Look closely, and you'll see the stretch wrapper wrapping the turntable to the pallet! In this instance, the film was being stretched so much that when the pallet was removed from the wrapper, the film that was supposed to unitize the load to the pallet was hanging loosely, providing almost no containment. One hard stop in the back of a truck and those goods wouldn't be attached to the pallet for long. Fortunately, during this film audit, we were able to help the user resolve this containment problem and optimize their process! Last week, my washing machine broke. (Appliances really should ask permission before breaking.) But no sweat, I called a repairman. In our conversation, he asked me to describe the issue, which I did. He explained to me that it was an issue I could easily fix myself and proceeded to give me step-by-step instructions on how to fix the machine. The inner repairman on me got down on the floor, followed his precise directions ... and -- yes, it's time to become a repairwoman -- I did it. Ok, I'm not *yet* switching careers, but there's one thing I do know. THIS is the way you build a brand. Did this repairman get a customer that day? Nope But did he suddenly get a loyal brand ambassador? Oh yes Will I call him when any of my other appliances break down? Absolutely Did I save his number and will pass it on to all my family and friends? Yes, yes, and yes again Color me impressed. #hannahlipschutz #marketing

✔ Arranging bottles in a row I cannot think of a better solution. By sending the leftover bottles back you are essentially avoiding waiting time and hence drops, while the arranged bottles go through the process. Really a neat way of doing things.
