Freedom is earned. Unity is essential. We grow as a nation when we embrace our history and strive for progress. So if you’re not feeling the celebration today, that’s okay. Patriotism is built through action, not just festivities. Reflection is the foundation. Community and shared values are the fuel. It’s more than just a holiday. Keep pushing for the ideals that July 4th stands for. Like in investing when creating generational wealth & legacy for decades. In sports, we wait until the game is over to celebrate. But why wait to celebrate someone's impact? Before noon today, I'm going to stop and think about two people who've made my life better this month. Then, I'll send them each a thank-you note. It won't take long—just a few heartfelt sentences about what they did and why it mattered. Here's why this matters to me: We're all so focused on our daily tasks that we rarely pause to recognize the value others bring to our lives. What I want to celebrate today is simple: Those quiet moments where someone made a difference without asking for anything in return. If I accomplish this small act of gratitude, I'll have created more value this week than any project tasks I could deliver. We know recognition is powerful, we just forget to use it. Gratitude is contagious. And taking 10 minutes to reflect and share appreciation? That's a win/win in my book. I feel energized giving recognition, and they feel seen for their impact. As the holidays approach, this is my small way of spreading light. Who will you recognize today?

🎇 Happy Birthday America. 🇺🇸 As we celebrate our nation’s 248th birthday, it seems fitting for me to remind you that … YOU honestly have no clue what YOU are capable of. And we can be assured that in 1776, those folks had no clue as well. But that did not stop them; and look what happened. 😊 There is so much I could share from this point, but here’s what I have for today. 🌭 Make peace with the bad parts of your career. No job is perfect. 🍔 Be a life-long learner of things. There has never been an easier time to up-skill. You can find online courses for less than a meal out. 🌽 Be curious – about everything. You can’t improve outcomes if you don’t explore options. 🍉 Tackle fear and discomfort. See them as a part of the risk for growth. 🍦 The world will not get you at times. They may not share your vision of yourself. That's okay. 🍻 Meet problems with “how can this work” not that it won’t. Like the building of our nation; there are bad parts of the job, but we have learned along the way, been curious enough to grow, tackled our fears, weathered much discomfort, and still, not everyone gets us.
