After a long-standing recommendation from Ste Nadin , and a trip to Barcelona, here are my findings on “Zero to One” 1. The world needs innovators 2. Find your Product/Market Fit 3. Don’t drink too much Cool-Ade 4. Build a good team, and trust them 5. It’s ok to be different. Reflecting on my time with startups and larger corporates, these are not all givens: - Founders disregard negative sentiment from prospects and customers - Product/Market fit is too often an afterthought - Communication and trust in others come second to unwavering self-belief - Seeking divergent opinions is the only way to fire-test your assumptions and direction I’d also add that remote working is hard. Bringing teams together - and getting in front of customers - is the best way of building trust and understanding. #startups #teamwork #strategy
