Raise a More Confident Child What is confidence and why is it important? We want our kids to do better, go further, and achieve more than we have. We want them to believe in themselves and that they're worthy of the things they want out of life. The good news is that self-confidence and self-esteem are things kids can practice and build on, with your help and guidance. Self-confidence and self-esteem are often confused as being the same thing. They are similar in that they both have to do with how you feel about yourself. Self-esteem is a measure of how you feel about yourself in general. Self-confidence comes from feeling confident in your abilities, that you are capable. Self-esteem and self-confidence are not about thinking you're better than others, but they describe a sense of security in who you are, that you have self-worth, and that you're able to handle anxious thoughts or challenges as they arise. https://bit.ly/3Z2g4EP

Does the sound of someone chewing loudly make your child feel uncomfortable, anxious, or even angry? It might not just be a simple irritation—it could be a sign of misophonia, a sensitivity to certain everyday sounds like eating, tapping, or slurping. Many adults with misophonia trace their discomfort with sound back to childhood, making early recognition and support crucial. Left unchecked, these feelings can escalate, causing social and emotional difficulties later in life. Learn more about how misophonia starts, its effects on children, and ways to help manage it before it intensifies in adulthood. https://lnkd.in/gYgDQi6d

When parents are constantly arguing, it can be easy for them to get so caught up in their own disagreements that they forget how much their conflicts affect their children. Few important points to understand : 1. Children are highly sensitive to the emotional environment around them, especially within the family. 2. When parents argue frequently, children may feel stressed, anxious, or even scared. 3. They often internalize these conflicts, thinking they might be the cause of the arguments or feeling insecure about their family’s stability. 4.This can lead to emotional, behavioral, and even academic problems for the child. 5.Over time, the constant exposure to parental conflict can affect their self-esteem, relationships with others, and their overall emotional well-being Recommendation : It's crucial for parents to be mindful of how their actions and words can shape their child’s emotional development and well-being. Usually parents make comparisons between their children. Especially the child who are weak. They are compared to them at home and outside . How much this tendency of comparison affects children mentally, the parents don't even realize these. Over a year children don't even continue their studies because of anger and heat. It's true that most of the time parents want to motivate their children for making their better life, but the way they compare them is not always right. Whatever parents want to do for their children must understand and otherwise it's not working. Even children do not understand their parents love and care. They think why do parents compare them ? Children feels insulting when we compare them publicly. One of the best ways is once a week spend a quality time with children to motivate them. Then you understood their problems and according that you will help them. Give your support to fulfill their needs. Children have the right to get a second chance for their parents, give them.
