Does it matter to keep your headshot fresh? The answer is YES! A fresh headshot is more than just a new photo; it's a reaffirmation of your commitment to your professional journey. As we evolve in our careers, our headshots should reflect our current path, showcasing growth and readiness for new opportunities. It signals to peers and potential employers alike that you are active, engaged, and invested in your professional image. Not just that, it gives our audience their first look at who you are! One of my favorite things to do is to attend the lectures at the National Geographic Society. There, you can hear the stories behind the stories that make their way into the magazine with the yellow border. Writers and photographers go behind the scenes and in-depth into their stories. https://bit.ly/3U02IHN #briantarallo #visualfacilitator #graphicrecorder #visualpractitioner #visuallearning #lizardbrain

A Journey of Inspiration: Capturing the Beauty of Humpback Whales in Bazaruto Archipelago What is your dream? As a photographer and filmmaker, my work often takes me to extraordinary places where nature reveals its most stunning spectacles. One such place is Vilanculos Beach in the Bazaruto Archipelago, located in the eastern Indian Ocean off the coast of Mozambique Here, amidst the pristine beauty of the ocean, I've had the privilege of witnessing moments that inspire and captivate. There's nothing quite like the experience of being out on the open sea. As the boat gently rocks, the atmosphere becomes still, and the anticipation builds. Suddenly, a sense of something extraordinary happening fills the air. The water's turquoise hue deepens, and a sudden splash sends droplets flying, accompanied by the flick of a powerful tail. The silence is palpable, and then, in a breathtaking moment, a humpback whale breaches the surface. The whale's gentle, graceful leap is like a dancer's, a fleeting moment of beauty and power. As it arcs through the air, time seems to slow, allowing every detail to be captured and cherished. The whale crashes back into the water with a splash, sending ripples across the ocean's surface. This incredible creature, a symbol of the ocean's vastness and mystery, leaves a lasting impression. Witnessing such a majestic display of nature's wonder is a reminder of the beauty and magic that exists in our world, waiting to be discovered and celebrated. Can you share what inspires you in our amazing world? @BlackmagicDesign #whales #africa #cinematography #travel #Inspiration

Can you share your thoughts on anyone of the following questions? Which image resonated with you the most, and why? What emotions do the landscapes evoke for you? This Iceland 2024 portfolio is my work towards capturing wildlife and landscapes from an 18-day, 3,000-kilometer journey along the South East and North East Coasts, Landmannalaugar, and Snaefellsnes. https://lnkd.in/giMkzMfM Also consider the following... Did any of the wildlife captures surprise you? What stood out? How do you feel the colors and lighting contribute to the overall mood of the photos? What stories do you think the images tell about Iceland’s unique environment? Did any particular bird species catch your attention? What do you find intriguing about them? If you could step into one of the photos, which would it be and what would you want to experience there?
