Hello Uber I booked a cab from the hotel to the airport in Cairo Egypt with the payment method American express card. your driver arrived and pissed off with the card payment selected and forced me to cancel the trip and asked me to pay by cash. in this case what shall I do ? let's try some options. Option A: get out of the car and don't cancel the ride. Miss the flight or whatever Option B: pay your cancellation fee and also pay the cash payment to driver and lose on both sides Option C: wait for you to schedule a ride assuming someone will come and pick me up while clock is ticking for my flight before posting this, I raised a support ticket and a response came back blaming the issue on my side cancelling the ride after the driver arrived. can you suggest what I should be doing in this case ? You have a policy to change payment mode to card based during the trip which was booked with cash payment but not vice versa. while I am not worried about your policies the experience you created is next to pathetic and I will try not to use your services.
